Lynchpin Richard is stand-out player for KTCC

KINGS Tamerton CC were the week’s biggest winners in the Plymouth and District Friday League when they inflicted on Porters C a 13-0 whitewash.

Richard Lynch (30.33) was their stand-out player and finished a 33-dart leg with a checkout of 126.

Porters A had Pete James posting an outshot of 120 in their 10-3 victory at Brookside while in a much closer contest, Indian Inn B edged out Waterloo C 7-6.

Ryan Ring was on target with an outshot of 115 but finished up on the wrong end of an 8-5 scoreline when Octagon Social Club lost away at The Windmill.

Royal Naval Arms A returned from Steam Packet B with an 8-5 victory, inspired by another good performance from Andy Bates (31.28).

The marksman top scored with 12 throws of a ton or more, seven of them coming in a 32-dart victory.

Team mate Nathan Beeney was also on target with a brace of 180s.

Kenny Visick was prominent when hitting two maximums in Steam Packet A’s 9-4 victory at Royal Naval Arms B while Queens Dock triumphed 8-5 away at Stoke Bar and Grill.

Indian Inn A defeated Jolly Miller 10-3 with the highlight being a trebles success in 37 (27.05) for Mike Whatley, Mike Brookshaw and Louis Yates.

Glyn Wells (30.33) recorded the week’s highest checkout when he finished a 33-dart leg with a kill of 147, the feat coming in an 8-5 victory for City Social away at The Tradesman.

GWRSA Laira won 9-4 away at The Fawn while Maritime A and Maritime B both won 10-3 against Waterloo B and Waterloo A respectively.
