No change at the top after leading duo both win

THERE is little change at the top of the Plymouth City Super League table after the leading two sides both won in double figures.

The Staddy consolidated their position at the helm with an 11-0 whitewash of Clifton B while second placed Porters B made it 18 wins on the bounce when defeating Kings B 10-1.

Mike Beard caught the eye for the winners when hitting a 13-dart leg before going on to a 3-1 singles success.

Porters A achieved maximum points when hosting Victoria while in two closer encounters, Ships Tavern and Hyde Park both won by the narrowest of margins against Maritime A and Plympton Cons B respectively.

ROBBO'S BACK: Dave Roberts came back to form after a long lay-off through injury and

was a 3-0 winner for Fawn in their 10-1 defeat by Octagon Social Club.

Kings Arms A had to win the last two singles to edge out St Levan 6-5 while Clifton A triumphed 8-3 over Compton Social Club.

Octagon Social Club defeated The Fawn 10-1 with Dave Roberts the lone winner for the visitors by a 3-0 margin, showing that after a long lay-off through injury, he has lost none of his talent.

Maritime B received good service from Scott Hutchinson (100x13) and Neil White (100x13) in their 8-3 victory away at Ker St Social Club while Dartsworld won 9-2 away at The Albemarle.

Simon Stevenson (100x14) took out a 15-darter in a 3-0 singles success and Lewis Dare, as well as hitting a brace of 180s, equalled the week’s top checkout with a finish of 130.

The top mark was also equalled by Albemarle’s Quinton Taylor while other notable outshots were achieved by Dean Warne (120), Warren Gordon (116), Shaun Dring (110).
