MARITIME A increased their advantage to seven points at the top of the Monday Premier League after they took all but one of the 11 points that were on offer when playing their stablemates Maritime B.
Dan Johnson (30.06) was their leading marksman when winning 3-0 in 14, 18 and 18 and was well supported by Scott Hutchinson who hit a 13-dart leg in a 3-1 singles success and Dan Scott and Billy Levans hit a 15-darter and two 16s respectively.
Second placed Porters A dropped points against the league leaders but won 6-5 at Indian Inn A in a fixture that produced 104 scores of a ton or more including four maximums.
Porters went from being 3-0 up to 4-3 down, only to win the next three on the bounce and snatch victory by the narrowest of margins.

Steam Packet B won a close encounter against Brookside B by the narrowest of margins with Neil White as their talisman.
He partnered Rob May to a 2-0 doubles win, aided by a 601leg in 20 before he emerged a 3-0 singles winner in 20, 20 and 18.
Indian B had won only four of their previous 26 matches but returned to winning ways when they edged out Ford Hotel after Mike Miller secured them the 11th and decisive point.
Porters B defeated City Social Club 8-3 and the match saw three ton-plus checkouts recorded, the best being a mark of 147 by Andy Bates.
But that feat was bettered by Alfie Ford who won 3-0, finishing the third leg in 15 with a kill of 160, but his Octagon side went down 8-3 at Brookside A.
