Johns and Hayman excel with a 15 dart doubles leg

THE Patriots increased their unassailable lead to 37 points with a 10-1 victory away at Brewery Tap in a Porters Function Room 501 Top 20 League fixture that produced 105 throws of a ton or more.

The highlight was an excellent 2-0 doubles victory for Malcolm Johns and Antony Hayman when leading 1-0, the duo claimed the second 601 leg in just 15 darts, which Johns finished with the week’s highest outshot of 144.

Fawn A picked up their best result to date when they secured all 11 points against Waterloo Inn while Maritime Misfits also won in double figures and claimed all but one of the 11 points on offer away at Torpoint Cons.

Dave Collins (100x16) top scored for Plympton Cons as they triumphed 7-4 away at Compton Social Club, the same winning scoreline that was also achieved by Porters Pretenders when hosting Octagon Social Club.
