KINGS Tamerton Community Centre extended their advantage at the top of the Plymouth and District Friday League to 10 points, after they plundered all of the points from their visit to Royal Naval Arms B.

Royal Naval Arms A remain in second spot following a 10-3 victory away at Weston Mill Oak Villa, buoyed by two good performances.

Andy Bates was consistent throughout and top scored with 13 throws of a ton or more while Andrew Nation (32.29) (pictured below), won his singles in 31, hitting seven ton plus scores in the leg.

Dinky Diner A returned from City Social C with a 9-4 victory, the same winning scoreline that was also achieved by Octagon SC away at Mainstone SC.

Steam Packet consolidated third place after coming back from deficits of 3-1 and 5-3 to win by the odd game of 13, having Matt Thompson (100x11) as their leading marksman.

Antony Hayman (31.28) was once again in a rich vein of form and his singles success in 32 darts was the highlight of Brewery Tap A’s 11-2 victory against Waterloo Inn.

Bull and Bush edged out Pennycross Social Club 7-6, despite taking an early 4-1 lead, while another win by the narrowest of margins was claimed by Indian Inn B on their visit to Dinky Diner B when Shaun Northcott won the 13th and decisive point.

Indian Inn A restricted The Fawn to just two points and they had Bryan Hodgins registering the week’s top checkout when finishing at the first opportunity from 121.

Adam Fell (25.67) won his singles in 39, helping Brewery Tap B to a 9-4 victory away at Railway Inn while a checkout of 100 from Mark Shears was the highlight of Windmill’s 8-5 success at Queens Dock.

City Social A secured all but one of the 13 points that were on offer against their stable-mates City Social B and had Glynn Wells (29.44) winning in 34, as well as being their leading marksman with 14 ton plus throws.
