Maritime edged out Indian Inn A 6-5, their sixth and decisive point being claimed by Scott Hutchinson (100x13) with a 3-0 win while Victory Inn B won 8-3 when they visited Prince Maurice B.
Lee Rodmell took out a 15-darter before going on to a 3-0 singles victory, a win which inspired The Tradesman to an 8-3 defeat of Steam Packet A.
Bluebird A won 7-4 on their visit to Ford Hotel while Octagon A picked up a win in double figures away at Indian Inn B.
The host’s solitary point was a 3-1 victory for Teresa Brookshaw (100x12) who also top scored while Octagon B won by the narrowest of margins away at Cherry Tree B after coming from behind and winning the last two singles.
