No change at the top between leading duo

THERE is no change at the top of the Plymouth City Super League table after the leading two sides both won by a 9-2 margin.

The Staddy remain top after defeating Kings Arms A with Marc Cresswell recording two maximums while second placed Porters B remain undefeated after beating Compton Social Club, for whom Neil Edwards (100x11) was their only singles winner.

Dartsworld Café are seven points off the pace in third but have a game in hand on the two sides above them and were one of only two teams to win in double figures when they defeated Kings Arms B 10-1.

CHECK THIS OUT: Dave Algar finished a 15-dart leg with an outshot of 136 in The Staddy's 9-2 victory against Kings Arms A.

Matt Vosper caught the eye when, in a 3-0 win for the Devonport side, he took out a 14-dart leg.

St Levan Inn put in a good performance to edge out Hyde Park Social Club 6-5.

Shane Mudge took a leg in 13 darts but was defeated 3-1 by Anna Johnson and with the scoreline evenly poised at 5-5, Sarah Brown delivered the decisive point with a 3-1 win against Shane Roberts.

Plympton Cons B took all but one of the 11 points from their visit to Porters A, winning the six singles with the loss of just three legs.

Steve Hiscox was prominent throughout for the winners and in a 3-0 singles success achieved his best leg in 15.

Lee Hellings (100x12) top scored for Octagon Social Club in their 9-2 victory away at The Albemarle, the same winning scoreline that was also achieved by Plympton Cons A when hosting The Fawn.

Victoria edged out Clifton B 6-5 and there was also a win by the narrowest of margins for Clifton A against Ker Street when they came from behind and won the last two singles.

Steve Harris was prominent for the winners and top scored with 13 throws of a ton or more.

Another close encounter came in the Maritime derby match when the B team overcame the A side by the odd game of 11.
