Eleven tons from Lee Doncaster and Antony Hayman saw Real Raffles C climb to the summit of the Plymouth City Super League Division B with an 8-3 win at Clifton. Hayman (25.91) bagged a 17 darter on his way to a 3-0 singles win, and he was one of three players to nail a 180. Teammate Mark Williams joined Andy Pengelly for the defeated home side in achieving that feat, whilst 74 and 80 checkouts were plundered by Doncaster and Nial McGarvey. Mark Hatherley was a fourteen ton hitter for Indian Inn, but still found himself on the wrong end of a 10-1 win as St Levans prevailed. Top scoring for the hosts was Tex Pearce with a ten ton haul that included a maximum, which was matched by Mike Pearce. Tex Pearce opened the individual phase with a 3-0 win that contained legs in 17 and 16 darts before Louis Yates won his solitary leg in a 3-1 defeat thanks to a 98 checkout.
