TWO teams lost for the first time in the Porters Function Room 501 Top 20 League, leaving three with an unbeaten record, just four weeks into a new campaign.
The top two sides both won in double figures but it’s Porters Patriots, after an 11-0 whitewash of Cherry Tree, that boast a four-point lead over the chasing pack.
They hit no fewer than 62 scores of a ton or more in their demolition of the Pennycross outfit and had five players hitting more than 10 tons each.
Maritime Marauders are in second spot and in winning 10-1 away at Duchy of Cornwall, won all six singles dropping just two legs.

PLAUDITS: Earning the plaudits for Porters Pretenders was Jon Matlock who hit the week's highest finish of 156 before winning the last singles to give his side a 6-5 win.
Fawn A took maximum points from their visit to Waterloo while Maritime Musketeers, in beating The Clifton, dropped just the single point which was a win for Brian Bibik.
Kieran Burns (100x12) impressed as Falstaff defeated Kings Arms 7-4 while Brookside returned from City Social with a 9-2 victory.
Octagon Social Club lost for the first time when they were edged out 6-5 by Porters Pretenders in a match that produced 110 throws of a ton or more.

Fred Goldsmith (100x14) caught the eye as Fawn B overcame Indian Inn 8-3 while Shaun Dring (100x15) was prominent for Maritime Misfits when they defeated Torpoint Cons 7-4 for their first reverse of the campaign.
Plympton Cons remain unbeaten after winning 9-2 against Compton with Dave Collins taking out a 14-dart leg before going on to a 3-1 singles success.
