Palmer Calmer In Pressure Win

Paul Palmer checked a crucial 140 three dart combination outshot in his 7-6 defeat of Billy Evans in the Legends Lounge Premier League.

The Premier League 1 clash saw Evans hit two maximums in the defeat, and made it a decent points scoring tally with a 7-1 triumph over Tom James in his first outing of the evening.

James went on to receive a last leg defeat in a 7-6 loss to Maria O'Brien in which James' 100 single visit finish was bettered by O'Brien's 116 kill.

James Ewing fired a 124 checkout on his way to a 7-4 triumph over Danny Bull for a first win of Ewing's campaign in the first of two matches played by Bull.

Kelly Burkitt had a mixed night after being defeated by Matt Kingdom 7-2, Burkitt then defeated Bull 7-4 despite Bull firing a pair of maximums.

Neil White made it two wins from two with an emphatic 7-0 triumph over Chris Edgcumbe in which the former threw a solitary 180.

In Premier League 2, Jason Pinkerton still tops the standings despite a 7-6 defeat to Andrew Cook in which there was four maximums.

Pinkerton fired three of those in the defeat to take his season's total to five in just three starts, whilst Cook put the other onto the scoreboard.

A 139 from Paul Gavican is now the best recorded checkout in the division so far, which was struck in a 7-2 triumph over Nick Cordrey alongside a maximum for Gavican.

Cordrey was on the end of another 7-2 defeat in his second match of the night as Frankie Stout followed up his 7-3 success over Sean Taylor with the triumph over Cordrey.

Taylor found a 180 in that Stout loss before being downed 7-0 by Pinkerton in his final rubber of the night, a result which leaves Taylor winless after three played.

There was a 180 a piece for Scott Lawrey and Scott Hutchinson; the former coming away from this particular battle with his unbeaten record intact after a 7-3 win.

Lawrey's sharpshooting wasn't curtailed to just the scoring phase of play as he also found a 110 checkout against his former Devon teammate.

Sean Burkitt's two matches yielded two defeats after going down to Liam Taylor 7-5 before Danny Perryman found a 121 finish in a 7-3 success over Burkitt.

Lee Hellings piled more misery onto Darren Smith with a 7-2 triumph whilst Del Bryce left Sarah Brown bottom of the early standings after a 7-3 turnaround.
