Andy Bates (28.36) and John Mann (28.36) remarkably matched each other's individual performances in Octagon's Plymouth City Super League Division A with 3-0 wins that came in an 11-0 triumph at Fawn A.

The duo completed legs in 15 and 18 darts during their respective wins, while almost all of the team also performed admirably in the singles phase.

Fred Goldsmith opened the singles with a 3-0 win that contained a leg in 16 darts before Neil White snuck past Reg Matthews thanks in part to a brace of 18 darters.

Bates and Mann were followed by a Lee Hellings 3-0 triumph before Alfie Ford rounded off the affair with another 3-0 success that contained another leg in 18.

Bates put on half of the 180s secured in the game, whilst White and Goldsmith topped up their ton totals to fourteen and ten respectively, with maxis of their own to make up a quartet.

Mann was also decent in the scoring phase with eleven three figure visits, whilst the only ton plus outshot came from the arm of Ford with a 114 combination.

Fourteen tons rained down from the arm of Andy Malinowski, which gave Legends Lounge B the platform from which to launch a 7-4 success over Cherry Tree D.

Nick Bryant matched that mammoth total, and despite hitting 17 and 18 darters, he eventually fell to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Malinowski in the final game of the night.

Malinowski was well supported by Simon Stevenson, who netted twelve tons overall, while Bryant's stablemate Phil Hoyle was also prominent, with eleven tons plusses.

There was a 180 for each player during a 3-0 win for Stevenson over Stan Preen that also featured a 17 dart leg for the victor.

Of the three figure checkouts plundered in the contest, Bryant's 120 pushed Dave Lee's 110 into second best of the remarkable event.

Col Maddocks joined Malinowski in checking 106 in a three dart combination, and the veteran also put on a 100 kill to complete the quintet.

Marc Webber and George Beckett heard scores of a ton or more called no fewer than thirteen times, but the pair still found themselves on the wrong end of a 10-1 loss as Steampacket were downed by Ford Inn.

Top scorer with ten tons for the victors was Dan Brazier, who nailed a 17 darter during the narrowest of 3-2 defeats of Beckett.

Scott Wapshott added a leg in 17 to his night's work in a 3-1 success, whilst Scott Cook managed two 17 dart legs in a 3-1 triumph over Webber.

Webber and Cook shared the headlines in the highest checkout section of the results sheet as Webber's 100 kill was the only effort to better a 92 from Cook.

Cook produced two of the five maximums the away side managed in the matchup as Wapshott also joined in that particular party with Mark Shears and Paul Gavican completing the set.

Thirteen ton plusses from Lewis Byrne and ten more by Kevin Seal did the damage for Tradesmans, who secured a 7-4 win over Bluebird A.

Seal was the recipient of no fewer than three '180' calls after throwing with Byrne and Simon Washington, adding a solitary effort each to make it five on the night for the visitors.

Seal was also clinical at the business end of lega with a 102 combination outshot his and the contest's best finish, whilst Seal also walked away with the least number of darts honours after a 17 darter in a 3-0 win.

Dale Halford's 70 checkout had to settle for second place in the finishing stakes, and Glenn Halford brought the best of the charge from the home team with eleven ton plusses.

Alec Turner stole the show for King Billy A during a 9-2 win over St Levans that saw Turner bag two maximums on his way to eleven scores of a ton or more.

Paddy Archibald made it three maxis for the victors whilst the pair were prominent during the finishing phase but it was Archibald who secured the best checkout with a 120.

That meant a 106 by Turner had to settle for the bridesmaid position, whilst a 15 darter in his 3-2 singles phase success proved to be crucial.

A 180 for each of Mike Phillips, Paul Carpenter, and Dave Johns sat nicely alongside ten tons for Simon Kelly in a 10-1 win for Kings Arms B versus Kings Tamerton.

Kelly's form wasn't just curtailed to the scoring phase as the talisman picked up a quality 77 mid-range checkout.

Martin Pearson's ten ton haul included one of the four maximums plundered by Cherry Tree C in their 8-3 derby day win over Cherry Tree B, for whom Heather Toney managed twelve three figure visits.

Teammate Steve Towl netted two, whilst the other came from the arm of Dave Hollow, who appeared amongst the dispatches for the finishing phase of play.

In Hollow's 3-1 win, the best legs were 16 and 17 darters, which were added to by Frankie Stout, who nailed legs in 16 and 18 darts in his 3-0 triumph.

Darren Smith's 106 three dart combination outshot gave him the highest checkout of the matchup, which narrowly pipped Paul Hoare's 92 into second best.
