Twenty Bed Is Jay's-Den

Jayden Dodd reached ten tons as champions Tradesmans A continued their unbeaten start to the Plymouth and District Friday Darts League season with a 12-1 win over Ker St A.

Andy Nation hit the game's only maximum in a 35 dart 1001 leg (28.60) with Paul Nash who also added the biggest finish of the week with a fine 85 combination outshot.

The imperious Richard Lynch's (30.33) 33 darter was the best of the week across all fixtures as the lowest of the season in the two games so far.

That leg helped Kings Tamerton add their name as one of four that are still unbeaten after a 9-4 win, which featured 180s for both Lynch and the Stoke Bar and Grill player he beat in the individuals, Andy Tremaine.

It was a good day all around for the Lynch family as Richie's son Collin claimed the high checkout on honours with a decent 78 finish.

180s for both Sean Taylor and Del Bryce weren't enough to arrest Royal Naval Arms' slide to a 10-3 defeat against King Billy A.

The Pennycross team put together a 38 dart team game, averaging 26.34 per dart in a 7-6 loss against Octagon; for whom Chris Edgcumbe checked 62 in a single visit.

Steve Marker is enjoying his return to darts after a lengthy absence with his 82 checkout the highest of a 10-3 win for Tradesmans B over Ker St B.

A brace of 180s from Jamie Sandford were the main highlight of a 9-4 success for Grenville over visitors Mainstone.

Indian Inn top the standings following two completed game weeks after they put Cherry Tree to the sword with a 13-0 win; meaning the new team have only dropped one leg in twenty-six so far.
