Those victories took put him into the last 32 where he defeated Kerry Dean 4-0 before impressing with a 4-2 victory against one of Cornwall’s top marksmen and the runner-up in the 2018 Plymouth Open, Neil Meneer.

White kept his momentum going with a quarter-final success over Nick Hicks in four straight legs before coming up against his Devon Super League Maritime stablemate Danny Allen who he defeated 5-3.

Also playing well throughout the day, was the PDC ranked Justin Pipe and it was no surprise that the former tree surgeon was White’s opponent in the final.
