Victory A return to winning ways and top table again
VICTORY Inn A returned to winning ways when inflicting on their stablemates a 9-2 defeat and moved back on top of the Monday Premier League table albeit with the slenderest of advantages.
They had two stand-out performers in Gary Phillips (31.31) and Keelan Kay (27.33).
Phillips emerged a 3-0 winner in 14, 18 and 16 and also hit his 34th and 35th maximum of the season which puts him five clear of his nearest rival while Kay, who top scored with 14 ton plus throws, including a brace of 180s, won his singles in 16, 17 and 22.
Steam Packet B, despite winning by the narrowest of margins, remain in the title race and are just one point off the pace.

Tap’s John Carr top scored with 100x13 and team mate Antony Hayman emerged a 3-1 singles winner in 16, 17 and 16.
Bluebird A edged out Steam Packet A 6-5 and had Tony Reid (pictured) throwing the week’s top checkout of 144 while his team mate Mark Henley was on target with two 180s.
Indian Inn A won 8-3 on their travels to Bluebird B, the same winning scoreline that was also achieved by Firkin Scholar away at Ford Hotel, with Frankie Stout (100x14) catching the eye in a 3-0 singles success.
Porters A defeated Cherry Tree 9-2 while The Tradesman secured maximum points when hosting Hyde Park Social Club.
Malcolm Johns and Tony Lamerton both won well in the individual phases, aided by legs of 14 and 15 respectively.
Kieran Burns top scored with 12 throws of a ton or more which included a brace of 180s, inspiring Maritime to an 11-0 whitewash of Prince Maurice B.
Paul Bowen (100x13) top scored for Plympton Cons but could not prevent the side from being edged out 6-5 by Octagon A.
Prince Maurice A had a comfortable 9-2 victory when hosting Porters B and had Tony Teal (100x13) top-scoring.
Glenn Halford and Lee Roberts also caught the eye in a 2-0 doubles victory when winning one of the 601 legs in 21 darts.
