Lee Hellings (26.84) once again lit up the Plymouth City Super League Division A with a fine 3-0 singles win that contained legs in 16 and 17 darts, which all came in a 10-1 success for Cherry Tree A over Bluebird B.

John Mann dominated the scoring phase with seventeen scores of a ton or more, which included one of the four maximums.

Other 180s in the contest for the victors came from Hellings and Andy Bates, whilst Dan Hurley added a solitary effort for his side, which helped him reach eleven tons.

Jack McMinn provided a decent amount of firepower with thirteen ton plusses, whilst Fred Goldsmith banged in eleven tons overall.

Glenn Halford showed his undoubted class with seventeen scores of a ton or more, which ticked Bluebird A over to a 6-5 win at Raffles B.

The icing on top of that mammoth effort was a 180, whilst Halford won legs in 13 and 17 darts in a 3-2 victory over Harry Bull.

Bull reached ten ton plusses, as did teammate Danny Bull, who added checkouts of 127 and 107 to that aforementioned total.

Joe Russell bagged himself a three treble visit, whilst Dale Halford produced a 180 and a 14 dart leg during a 3-0 singles success.

Leaders Falstaff A had their title chances severely dented by a rampant Raffles A, who had Lewis Dare reaching fourteen tons in an 8-3 away victory.

Tyler Borthwick and Craig Hillary also shone with thirteen three figure visits each, and Adam Truscott also contributed with a ten ton haul.

The hosts had Scott Lawrey in good nick with eleven scores of a ton or more, whilst Paul Goundry added ten tons overall.

Truscott and Hillary both reached their totals with the help of 180s, with Quinton Taylor adding a solitary effort for the defeated home team.

Borthwick's highlight was a 120 kill, whilst Dare and Truscott put together a 601 leg that was put away after the pair threw 18 darts each.

Two maximums accentuated Simon Stevenson's fourteen ton haul that led Legends Lounge B to a 9-2 triumph at Ker St A.

Stevenson was supported well by Col Maddocks, who ended his night with a ten ton tally, whilst a third maximum for the victors was put up by Matt Vosper.

Paul Tackle produced a maximum of his own for the hosts, whilst checkouts of 74 by Fred Lamerton and 116 by Lee Hunter were the best checkouts from either side.

Stevenson also produced the best leg of 501 in the match as he threw a leg in 18 darts during a 3-0 singles victory.

Mike Whatley nailed thirteen three figure visits, which got Ford Inn over the line to a 6-5 victory versus Kings Arms B.

Steve Mills brought most of the heavy artillery to the event for the narrowly defeated side, with twelve scores of a ton or more.

Ant Pearn's 180 was the only effort of its kind, whilst Paul Hendy's 110 checkout was bettered by a 126 from Mark Shears.

Thirteen tons rained down from the arm of Cameron O'Brien, which guided Ships Tavern to an 8-3 win at Firkin Scholar.

O'Brien was supported by Frankie Stout and Steve Towl, who both notched 180s on their way to eleven ton plusses each.

Scott Heggie shone for the hosts with an eleven ton haul of his own, whilst teammate Rhys Castle also chipped in with ten ton plusses.

The cherry on top of Heggie's tally was two maximums, whilst Archie Borlase also contributed to the 180 stats with a solitary effort of his own.

At the business end, Dave Hollow found an 18 dart leg during his 3-0 win, whilst O'Brien and Stout produced respective 107 and 140 checkouts.

Both Nick Bryant and Phil Hoyle bagged twelve scores of a ton or more for Falstaff B, which gave them the platform to secure an 8-3 success over Tradesmans.

All of the maximums in the matchup were fired by the defeated party, as Chris Edgecombe's brace was added to once by Simon Washington.

Bryant also shone in the finishing stages with a 96 checkout and a leg in 16 to his name, whilst Edgecombe provided what turned out to be crucial 14 and 17 darters in a 3-2 triumph.

Liam Taylor was an eleven ton hitter for Legends Lounge A, who secured a last leg deciding 6-5 win over Fawn A.

Aiden Stenson produced a 72 checkout, whilst Kobi Hayman was the hero of the hour with a 3-2 last singles win that saw a leg tumble in 16.

Nick Miller fired ten three figure visits for Steampacket, which helped them to a 6-5 win at Duchy A, who had Daryl Pinnegar hitting an 86 finish.

Other highlights included a 180 from Marc Webber, whilst George Beckett's 3-0 singles success included a 15 dart leg.

The best checkout of the matchup overall came from Hurley's stablemate Shaun Highfield, who ended one leg with an 83 kill.
