Billy Boyz Burn Basement Bunch

Kieran Burns top scored in all fixtures in the Plymouth and District Friday League with an eleven ton haul that was the main catalyst behind a 12-1 win for King Billy over Ker St B.

Burns added the game's only maximum whilst teammate Dylan Webb's admirable 74 checkout gave him the biggest finish of the contest.

The least number of darts prize was shared by the same team with Tradesmans A hitting two 33 darters in an 11-2 win over Royal Naval Arms to extend their lead to seven at the top.

The first of those fantastic legs was provided by Andy Nation and Andy Waters (30.33) in a 1001 doubles game that saw Nation throw one of his two maximums.

Jayden Dodd (30.33) repeated the feat in his singles with another maximum for his team before Nation picked up his second 180 in a singles triumph.

Ben Waters 108 checkout started the rout in the very first game of the night to give his team the two point team game.

Jordan Grimshaw's undoubted talent shone through in Victory Inn's 12-1 win over Grenville, which ended with Grimshaw taking the high checkout honours for the week with a fine 126 three dart combination out shot.

Grimshaw's (25.67) finish was at the end of a 39 dart 1001 leg that was only bettered on the night by teammate Glyn Wells (27.05) who won his game in 37.

Despite only picking up a solitary point, the St Jude's team did manage to bag all of the 180s in the match with Jamie Sandford and Dave Meyrick netting one each.

Simon Washington's 180 helped Octagon make it five wins from five starts as they managed a 10-3 win over Ker St A.

Stoke Bar and Grill now occupy second place in the standings after taking all 13 points on offer against joint bottom Cherry Tree.
