Mike Pearce picked up the Steve Chapman 501 League's individual winners prize, sponsored by his own Pearce Brothers Ltd company, at St Levans in what was a dominant display all evening.

Lee Hellings opened the evening with a comfortable 3-0 win before AJ Brunton got his night up and running with a 3-0 success of his own that contained a leg in 17 darts.

Pearce bagged an 86 checkout on his way to a 3-0 preliminary round success before Jack McMinn and Simon Washington successfully navigated the first stage with respective 3-0 and 3-2 triumphs.

The first game of the Last 16 stage saw Lee Agar put together two 180s and legs in 17 and 16 darts to progress 3-0.

Hellings was back to the oche, producing a leg in 18 during another 3-0 triumph before Pearce ended the hopes of Liam Taylor by a 3-1 scoreline.

Pearce survived a leg in 18 from his opponent and also put away a 17 darter of his own and a maximum to continue his progress.

Dan Brazier opened his title tilt with a 3-1 victory over Mark Bell, who added a 116 checkout to a 15 darter, which made it 1-1 before Brazier fired a maxi during a 18 darter that decided the game.

Andrew Cook checked 91 and legs in 14 and 15 darts to reach the last 8 in double quick time before McMinn's 3-1 success that included a leg in 15 darts.

Archie Borlase was a 3-1 winner, and completing the last 8 line up was Brunton, who succeeded 3-0 with the help of a 90 checkout.

Brazier came back from 2-0 down to run out a 3-2 winner in the first quarter final before Agar put together an 86 three dart combination when ending Hellings' run.

Cook's 3-1 win over Brunton saw him go 1-0 down before rallying with an 18 darter that was finished with an 82 combination.

Cook started the next leg with a 180 and ran out a winner in 14 darts despite a maxi from his opponent before Cook booked his place in the final four with a 99 kill.

Pearce completed the semi final lineup with a 3-2 victory that saw him add a 127 finish to his legs in 18 and 17 darts.

The first three darts of Cook's 3-1 win over Agar was a 180, which helped him to a 14 darter and another maximum followed in an 18 dart leg.

Agar rallied with a leg in 17 before Cook fired back a 17 darter of his own to book his place in the final, where he would meet Pearce, who won another last leg decider against Brazier.

The showpiece game was opened with a leg in 17 darts from Pearce before Cook went 2-1 up after some uncharacteristically sloppy visits from Pearce.

Pearce brushed himself off, though, and put together two 18 dart legs to turn the tide, with the contest decided by a 95 checkout.
