Bling It On

Sarah Brown showed the finishing prowess that's made her in integral part of the county scene for the last decade with three huge checkouts during a 7-5 Legends Lounge Premier League 3 win over Josh Furneaux.

Brown's trio of three dart combinations included a 103, 125 and 152 kills, which made the difference in the match that was settled by just two legs.

Ton plus checkouts continued to rain down in this division as Simon Wilbraham's 7-4 win over Reece Goves saw one apiece for each player.

Wilbraham's 126 bettered a 106 by Goves whilst Wilbraham also added a maximum to his night's work during that success.

Goves took his frustration out on Kirsty Whiting-O'Brien during a 7-1 victory whilst Nick Furneaux completed a 7-1 triumph over Lisa Hellings.

John Mann emphatically settled the battle of the two unbeaten players in Premier League 2 with a 7-0 win over James Nicholls.

Mann's success was accented by legs in 17, 18 and 13 darts and Mann also added a 180 in that particular encounter before his second matchup that also ended in triumph.

Mann was a 7-2 winner over Nick Miller with both players hitting 180s in the match that saw Mann show his undoubted class with 17, 11 and 15 darters that sat nicely alongside a 101 three dart out shot.

Miller completed mixed results during his other outings on the night as a 7-4 loss versus Paul Palmer also saw Miller add his second 180 on the night.

That was followed by a 7-0 win over Warren Page in which the victor found a third 180 in the three games played.

Frankie Stout's 150 three dart combination outshot ignited his 7-0 win over Tom Wilson whilst finishes of 104 and 105 enabled Sean Taylor to better Dan Jewell 7-6.

Taylor's form dipped slightly in a 7-5 loss against Dave Lee which saw three scores of '180' called with the majority going to Lee by a 2-1 score line in that particular stat.

In Premier League 1, 180s were ploughed in by both competitors during a 7-1 win for Tex Pearce over his former Devon teammate Maria O'Brien.

Lee Hellings was a 7-0 winner thanks in part to a maximum whilst Scott Wapshott also found himself a 7-0 triumph against Chrissie Kinnaird.

Kinnaird's second outing yielded one more leg than her first as she was on the end of a 7-1 loss to Pearce whilst O'Brien dusted herself off in her second game.

A three treble visit accented a 7-1 triumph with Josh Furneaux the man on the receiving end of that heavy defeat.

Anna Pearce netted herself a 180 during a 7-1 triumph over Dave Reed whilst Chris Edgecombe now leads the league after two wins in the match week.

A 134 checkout and a 180 highlighted Edgecombe's 7-3 success over Jayden Dodd before Edgecombe rose to the summit after a 7-4 success over Dan Giles.

Giles added a maximum of his own in that turnaround and followed this loss with a 7-5 victory over Chris Adams.
