Tradesmans A regained the lead in the Plymouth and District Friday Darts League thanks to an 11-2 win over Mainstone.

That win was largely thanks to the power scoring from Jaydon Dodd and Michael O'Brien who hit ten tons each.

O'Brien also shared the week's least number of darts with Rob May as the pair both notched 39 dart 1001 legs for a 25.67 average.

O'Brien also added an 80 checkout and the game's only maximum on a successful night individually and as a team.

Title chasers St Johnston A suffered their first defeat of the season as Queens Arms became the first team to get the better of the Keyham side in fifteen attempts.

Kieran Burns did his level best to prevent the defeat with twelve ton plusses but a 180 from Andy Tremaine, a 116 checkout by Alan Jewell and a last leg win for David Jarvis helped the Tamerton side over the line.

Individual leader Mark Hatherley notched a league high twelve three figure scores in his Indian team's 7-6 defeat to St Johnston B.

Hatherley added a maximum to that haul and won his singles in 41 darts but the damage was already done as the Keyham team raced into a 7-2 lead with Dan Cole finishing from 96.

Bottom side Grenville were denied a second win of the campaign as they lost by the odd leg in thirteen to Steampacket.

Simon Washington scored a maximum for the Octagon as they went 6-2 against Kings Tamerton CC before Jason Farrell's 180 started a comeback of five straight singles leg.

Martin Davis won the last leg decider to give the 7-6 victory to his team who looked down and out before the singles phase.
