Eleven For Nation's Army

Andrew Nation (33.67) showed his undoubted class with ten tons in his King Billy team's 11-2 success over Ker St A in the Plymouth and District Friday Darts League.

The 2019 Champion of Champions runner-up finished his 1001 singles leg in just 30 darts to also take the least number of darts for the week; the joint second lowest of the season so far.

Nation's teammate Ryan Ring also managed a 99 checkout in what was a dominant display for the Devonport that leaves them third in the standings.

Bob Heale checked 80 in a single visit but still found himself on the wrong end of a 10-3 loss as The Lugger were downed by Pennycross.

Jaden Whitting (27.05) added ten tons to the scoreboard and a leg in 37 during Tradesmans A's 10-3 triumph over Indian Inn.

Whitting's teammate, Mike O'Brien, checked 87 in a single visit to record the highest checkout of this particular contest; an effort that bettered an 84 from Richard Wheatley.

Shaun Williams added ten three figure scores to the scoreboard as leaders Victory Inn demolished Queen and Constitution 11-2.

There was a wait until the final leg of the match for the game's first maximum, which was calmly dispatched by Kevin Evans in his singles success.

Alex Brown (25.67) won his individual game in a very respectable 39 darts whilst teammate Andy Tremaine added the only 180 of the match during an 8-5 away win for Queens Arms over Mainstone.

Both Dave Wyatt and Simon Washington added their names to the 180 column during a 10-3 win for Octagon over Tradesmans B.

Sean Taylor dominated proceedings with a ten ton haul that featured a maximum and the highest checkout of the week across all fixtures of 130 in Brewery Tap's 8-5 defeat to Kings Tamerton.

Grenville picked up a fourth win of the campaign when defeating Ker St B in an away clash that was won on the final leg of the match by Jamie Sandford.
