Friday Night Rimmer

Twelve tons from Jevon Rimmer, in what was a game of two halves between Brewery Tap and Indian Inn, wasn't enough to get the Stonehouse team the win as they fell 7-6 in the Plymouth and District Friday Darts League.

In a spell that included the only maximum from Mark Hatherley, Indian built a 6-0 lead before being pegged back to 6-6 with six in a row from Brewery Tap.

That left the destiny of the spoils to a one leg shootout between Gareth Lake and Kev Marlow with the latter coming out on top to five the Stoke team the win.

Glyn Wells' eleven ton plusses helped leaders Victory to secure all thirteen points on offer against The Lugger in a game that also saw Shaun Williams take out the highest checkout of the week; a respectable 99.

A 38 dart 1001 leg from Mike O'Brien (26.34) helped secure a 9-4 win for Tradesmans A over King Billy; a leg that bettered a 40 darter from Matt Abbott (25.03).

In an entertaining contest, there was three 180s with Dan Perryman adding one to a brace from Anthony Pearn whilst Pearn's teammate Ryan Ring added the highest checkout of 98.

Octagon had Simon Washington in good form as he ploughed in a maximum and a 76 checkout during an 8-5 win for the Stonehouse team against Mainstone.

Ker St B secured an 8-5 success over Tradesmans B whilst Grenville got a third win of the campaign with an 9-4 success over Ker St A and Queens Arms fell to a 7-6 home defeat to Pennycross as Steve Lamerton hit a 180.
