Hatherley On The Mark But Indian Defeated

Mark Hatherley's (24.41) 41 dart 1001 leg and twelve tons lit up Indian's 8-5 defeat to King Billy in the Plymouth and District Friday Darts League.



The Devonport team were led to victory by no fewer than three maximum scores throughout the team phase of play, which helped build a 4-3 lead going into the individuals.


Ryan Ring, Allen Matthews and Wayne Marchant all struck for the visitors who then went on to take four singles games for the 8-5 success.



Kings Tamerton were the biggest winners of the week with an 11-2 demolition job on Ker St A, who still perilously close to the bottom after the defeat.


Paul Barclay was in good form for the Octagon as he netted a 180 in a 10-3 win that saw also saw Harry Harrison win the high checkout prize with a 70 single visit kill for the defeated Grenville.



Mark Gavican added a maximum to the scoreboard as Mainstone emerged triumphant in their clash with Queen and Constitution by a 9-4 score line.
