Andrew Cook (27.83) secured the best individual game of the thirtieth game week in the Steve Chapman 501 League with a 3-0 win that came with legs in 17 and 18 darts.

Cook's overall performance included fourteen ton plusses, which contained a 128 checkout and one of the five 180s, resulting in a 9-2 win for King Billy at Indian Inn.
Scott Cook was almost as influential with two maximums amongst his eleven tons, and he also fired 12 and 17 darters during a 3-1 triumph.

Brandon Hartley added the away side's other 180, whilst the only three treble visit from the defeated side came from Mark Hatherley, who used that to top up his thirteen ton tally.
Fawn B's 7-4 victory at St Levans was led by Simon Washington, who nailed fifteen scores of a ton or more to the dartboard.

Washington was supported well by Jack McMinn and John Mann who both finished their particular evenings on eleven ton plusses each.
In riposte, both Mike and Tex Pearce fired fourteen ton plusses back at the champions elect with a 180 added by the former and a 116 kill from the latter.

Pearce's teammate Hayley Brant notched the other maximum in the contest, whilst Washington had his name in amongst the four ton plus finishes.
Sandwiched between two excellent combinations of 101 and 114 from Washington was a 104 from stablemate Fred Goldsmith.

Two individual games stood out, and none more so than Washington's 3-2 victory over Mike Pearce, which saw no leg going beyond the 20 dart mark.
Legs in 18 and 15 from the victor bettered a 15 darter from the defeated party, whilst Mann and Tex Pearce also put on quite a show in a 3-1 success for Mann.

Mann heard 'game shot' called twice after throwing 17 darts, which meant Pearce's 18 dart leg paled into insignificance in terms of the match result.
Chris Edgecombe was at the heart of everything good about Octagon's 6-5 win at Cherry Tree C, with his twelve ton haul being the best of any of the twelve on display.

The victors were largely outgunned in terms of scoring, and Nick Bryant reached twelve tons to sit nicely alongside eleven from Luke Johnson and ten more by Lee Hellings.
Johnson's tally was ticked over to that mark by the only two 180s in the whole of the match, whilst after taking a 3-0 lead, the end of the singles was the place where the match turned in the away team's favour.

Before that, there was time for Johnson and Nick Miller to put away 601 points in just 17 darts in their 2-0 doubles win.
Miller opened the individuals with a 3-0 win that contained a 120 checkout, and Bryant extended the lead to 5-2 by completing his aforementioned ton total.

Edgecombe started the rally with a 3-1 win that saw a 118 checkout added to his ton total before Alfie Ford tied the match with a 3-1 win against Hellings, who himself nailed a 16 darter.
That left Jayden Dodd with the undeniably difficult task of stopping a rampant Johnson, and he did so by a 3-2 scoreline.

Two 180s accentuated Jason Pinkerton's twelve ton haul that helped Cherry Tree B to a 9-2 home triumph over Raffles.
Pinkerton was supported well by Mike Whatley, who claimed ten tons to his name, whilst the only ton Phil Hoyle managed was a 180.

Pinkerton and Whatley teamed in the 601 doubles phase to fire an 18 dart leg before Pinkerton continued his form through to the singles phase.
Pinkerton added a leg in 17 during a 3-1 win before Whatley was narrowly defeated by Logan Carroll with an 18 darter proving to be crucial in a 3-2 success.

Darren Smith added a 106 checkout but still fell to a 3-1 loss, whilst Jacob Bentham added his team's only 180 in another 3-1 reversal.
Eleven tons rained down from the arm of Kelvin Rowe, which led Victory A to a more than comfortable 11-0 win at The Exchange.

Rowe got amongst the nine 180s put on by his team with a solitary effort, which was added to once each by Quinton Taylor, Paul Goundry, and Tony Tasker.
The other five three treble visits were split between a brace for Darren Collis and a trio that came from the arm of Scott Lawrey.

At the business end of legs, Quinton Taylor fired the best checkout with a 100 kill, whilst Rowe's 15 darter that fell in a 3-1 win bettered a leg in 16 from Goundry during a success by the same score.
Paul Palmer bagged ten ton plusses, which sat nicely alongside a Paul Hendy 80 kill on the highlight reel of an 11-0 win for Kings Arms versus Tradesmans.

The most notable highlight of Cherry Tree D's 7-4 win at Duchy came in the form of a 102 checkout for Martin Pearson.
Both teams threw away leads in Bar Mez' 6-5 win at Fawn A as the former were 2-0 and 4-1 up before being pegged back to 5-4 going into the final two singles.

Bill Scannell's 180 was the major moment of class in the first nine games before the game result was snatched by Archie Borlase with a 3-2 final leg shootout in the last singles.
Steve Ebsworth, Chris Beale, and Lee Bannister added a 180, a 17 dart leg, and a 109 kill to the scoreboard in a 6-5 win for Ebsworth's Firkin Scholar versus Victory Fireballs.
