A top-of-the-shop 170 outshot by Keith Johnson dominated the headlines in Plymouth Open League's Division A, and this was the main moment in a surprise 6-5 win for Lugger B over leaders Beacon Park.

That effort contributed to a 2-1 individual win that also saw a leg in 18 darts plundered for Johnson as he also formed part of a duet of 180 hitters.

The other maximum went the way of the defeated visitors as Nick Bryant bagged his team's only three treble visit.

Prince Maurice humbled second placed Victory with a 6-5 win that saw two 18 darters in the individual phase of play.

Sam Frampton fired a leg in six completed visits that proved crucial in a 2-1 win, whilst Lee Doncaster checked the other in another 2-1 triumph.

The trio of Frampton, Jordan Lee, and Steve Hill (25.67) ended their 1001 trebles game in just 39 darts between them, whilst two moments shone at the business end of legs.

Lewis Clarke's 92 combination for the successful visitors proved to be second best in the finishing stakes to a 112 three darter by Neil White.

An 18 dart leg from Cameron O'Brien couldn't stop Mainstone A from falling to the narrowest of defeats against Falstaff in a 6-5 loss.

The only moment of magic for the successful team came in the form of Alex Brown's three treble visit to the dartboard.

Three 180s were shared between Royal Naval Arms and Cherry Tree B during a 10-1 win for the Keyham based home side.

Ralph Lancaster, Shane Roberts, and Kieran Harris all put a three treble visits onto the scoreboard to make it 2-1 to the victors in that particular statistic.

A 100 checkout came from the arm of Kevin Evans whilst Harris' teammate Wayne Davis was the only individual winner for the away team, thanks in part to what turned out to be a crucial 18 dart leg in a 2-1 victory.

180s by Tyler Borthwick and Gary Jeavons lit up a close encounter as Jeavons' St Johnston won 7-4 away at Borthwick's Johnno Legends.

Checkouts of 150 and 100 by Simon Wilbraham and Jason Goldsmith, respectively, gave Lugger A the platform from which to launch a 7-4 win at Fortescue.

Whilst the Mutley based side ended on the wrong side of the match result, Richard Dawes still had time to provide the only maximum of the contest.

Jordan Heath's 180 and a 76 checkout by teammate David Williams helped Prince Maurice to a 9-2 win over Keyham Vaults A.

Fawn A might've come away from St Levans with an 8-3 loss, it was Ian Davison's 138 checkout that provided the fireworks for the defeated party.

Ty Carthy put up a 91 kill for Ker St C but still found himself on the wrong end of an 8-3 home loss versus visitors Pennycross.

In Division B, Kieran Burns walked away with a fourteen ton plus haul in an 11-0 win for King Billy A over Keyham Vaults B.

Included in that haul was a 120 checkout and the game's only 180, whilst Antony Hayman was also influential with ten ton plusses.

Hayman showed his class with a 90 checkout, and Hayman and Burns shared the least number of darts honours with legs in 15 darts during their respective 2-0 individual triumphs.

Paul Davies banged in a 180, which sat nicely alongside a 73 combination outshot from Jack Coles, but both efforts couldn't arrest Weston Mill's slide to a 7-4 loss at Albemarle.

The main highlight of Agaton A's 7-4 win at Ker St A came in the form of a 17 dart leg for Rob Kerry during his narrow 2-1 individual loss.

Ker St B suffered a 6-5 defeated in their visit to Stoke Inn, which was ended by Darren Denslow in the final singles with a 2-0 win.

Keenan Grimshaw's maxi provided some solace in the defeat that also saw Denslow's teammate Colby Ward provide a 71 combination out.

Tyler Fenlon heard '180' called after throwing just the once during a 6-5 win for King Billy B at Legends Lounge B.

George Amor bagged an 88 checkout for Bluebird during their visit to Cherry Tree C that ended in a 6-5 win for the visitors.

Matt Anderson heard 'game shot' called at the first time of asking from 70 during a 9-2 win for Fawn B over Queens Arms.

A checkout of 70 by Dan Nixon provided the only moment of magic for Cherry Tree A during their 6-5 win over Duchy.

Mainstone B's 6-5 win at Herbert was guided home by Dan Capel in a 2-0 win that came during the very last singles game.
