Kieran Performance Burns The Tables On Falstaff

Kieran Burns' twelve ton plus haul, including a brace of 180s, helped King Billy to an 8-5 Plymouth and District Friday Darts League success over Falstaff.

Burns (31.28) rattled off his 1001 singles leg in just 32 darts for the shortest leg of the week and the joint best so far of any player this season.

Burns' brace of maximums was joined by a third for his Devonport team as Dylan Webb threw another 180 for his team in a singles win.

Steve Marker's (27.05) ten tons and 1001 leg in 37 darts couldn't arrest Tradesman B's slide to an 11-2 defeat against Kings Tamerton who had three moments of magic in the match.

Paul Sanders and John Brownlow hit maximums in the match whilst Martin Davis 76 checkout was the highest of the match.

Tradesman A's 11-2 win over Indian Inn saw two sub 40 dart 1001 legs with the first coming in a 38 dart trebles success for Andy Waters, Ben Waters and Paul Nash (26.34).

That bettered David Young's (25.67) 39 dart individual success, which came in spite of his opponent Nik Dodd's 180; one of two in the match as teammate Ben Waters threw a second in his singles win.

Legends Lounge helped themselves to an 8-5 win with Del Bryce's 104 checkout providing the highest checkout of both the match and week.

Dave Wyatt lit up Octagon's 10-3 win over Ker St B with a maximum and an 85 checkout; a success that saw the Stonehouse team go 10-0 before the Devonport side claimed some respectability with the final three singles.

Grenville came away from their trip to Pennycross with a 9-4 win that saw a 78 checkout from Jamie Sandford and a 180 from Dave Meyrick.
