Dan The Ton Man
Dan Nixon started his life in the Plymouth City Super League Division B with fourteen scores of a ton or more, but that wasn't enough to stop Golden Hind from succumbing to a 6-5 defeat against Clifton A.

Chris Pearce managed ten tons for the victors, whilst teammate Cory Jonas provided the only three treble visit of the contest.
Jack Corber's 107 out was bettered by a 147 from Dan Jewell, who also had an 87 kill, whilst Robbie Aitken was the hero of the contest, steering home a 3-2 victory in the final singles to give the away side the spoils.

David Young nestled as many as eleven ton plusses in an 8-3 loss for Indian Inn at Colebrook in a match that saw Helen Stone, Chris Lancaster and Ben Meaker hit 180s.
Bradley Burnard buried an 84 outshot for the away team, the only effort to usurp an 80 from Josh Furneaux for the victors.

Will Broome was a ten ton hitter for Compton Social as they enjoyed an 11-0 win at Duchy B, which saw Chanelle Williams take out 111 for the defeated team.
Broome's teammate, Martin Rich, put together the only three figure outshot from his cohort with a 100 combination.

180s for Karl Rogers, Brad Simpson and Andy Milne gave Plymstock Club United the platform from which to launch an 8-3 win at Embassy Club, which also saw Justin Evans check a leg in 18 darts.
Roger Backway's 95 checkout bettered a 90 combination by Martin Pearson, which came in an 8-3 win for Plymstock Club Musketeers at Cherry Tree.

Other highlights from Backway's teammates included a 180 by Jake Dutton and a leg put away in 16 darts by Mark Bell.
A 180 for Jordan Heath and a 109 checkout by Gary Hayes came in a 6-5 win for Hayes' Firkin Scholar B against Heath's Duchy A, which saw Hayes win the game in a final leg 3-2 shootout with Heath.

Callum Horn checked 93 and 86 in two separate visits to the board, which provided the ammunition for Ford Inn B to claim an 8-3 victory against Fawn B.
Tom Elphick matched the lesser of those two finishes with an 86 of his own for the defeated party, whilst a game Horn played against Mackenzie Sargeant produced the two best legs of the contest.

Sargeant banged in an 18 darter in a 3-1 win over Horn, who himself fired back a leg in 17 to open the singles phase of the matchup.
Jason Johnson put away 84 in one visit to the board, which was the main highlight of a 7-4 win for St Levans versus St Johnston.

James Ewing's 83 single visit combination outshot came in a 10-1 Devonport derby win for King Billy versus local rivals Ker St B.
A 76 single visit outshot from Mike Evans was the only moment of magic for Ker St A in their 11-0 success versus Herbert Loyals, whilst Legends Lounge C started life in the league with a 7-4 victory at Ker St C.
