Kings Undone By Victory Trio
Excellent darts littered Victory C's 7-4 win away at Kings Arms with as many as three players reaching fourteen tons for the victors in the Steve Chapman 501 League.

Billy Evans, Danny Allen and Mark Shears added that mammoth total of three figure scores to the board whilst the trio also dominated all other areas of the game.
Allen and Shears added 180s to their haul whilst a 120 from Billy Evans was the highest outshot of the match overall.

Allen's 16 darter in his 3-1 singles success was bettered by his sparing partner Evans who checked a leg in 15 during his win by the same score line.
Both of those individual performances paled into insignificance as Mark Shears added legs of 16, 18, and 15 darts in a 3-2 win over Simon Washington who added a 180 to the scoreboard to no avail.

Evans and Allen (33.38) had earlier paired for an 18 dart 601 doubles game in a 2-1 win over Dave Johns and Dave Algar who were by far the best of the defeated Oreston bunch.
Johns notched a brace of maximums whilst Algar's (27.83) 3-0 success came about thanks to a 15 dart leg and part of a ten ton plus haul.

Reigning champions King Billy were blown away by some expert marksmanship from Fawn B who leapfrog their opponents into second after a 9-2 triumph.
Despite ending on the wrong side of a heavy defeat, Scott Cook top scored with fourteen tons whilst John Mann, making an appearance against his old team, added thirteen tons to the scoreboard.

In the ton scoring stakes, the Greenbank team were superb as Andy Bates, Fred Goldsmith and Jaden Whitting all added twelve, ten and ten tons respectively.
The lion's share of the 180s were picked off by the victorious team as Dave Matthews brace and Bates sole effort made it three to Scott Wapshott's one for the Devonport champions.

A 15 darter from Lee Agar was the best of a number of short games during his 3-0 success whilst Whitting added legs of 17 and 16 darts during his 3-1 win.
Mann's 17 darter came in a 3-1 loss to Scott Cook whilst Antony Hayman checked a leg in 18 darts in the other tie the 'Billy Boyz' won as Hayman won 3-0.

Andrew Cook took the high checkout honours with a 96 kill and added an 18 darter in his 3-1 defeat to Matthews.
Alfie Ford's thirteen tons for the Octagon during their 7-4 triumph over St Levans wasn't bettered by any of the twelve darters on display.

Anna Johnson top scored for the defeated team with ten tons whilst there was a 180 a piece for each team with Ralph Lancaster and Mike Pearce both striking.
Pearce also added a 15 darter in his 3-0 singles success that was only usurped by a leg in 14 by teammate Shaun Dring who was downed by Ford 3-1.

Mark Hatherley continued his good form with thirteen tons in a 6-5 loss for Indian Inn against Fawn A that went down to the wire.
The close game had two 180s shared amongst the teams with Mike Nancholas and Louis Yates before Dave Clemson won the game for the Greenbank team in a last leg shootout.

Quinton Taylor bagged himself eleven tons whilst teammate Scott Lawrey notched ten in an 11-0 whitewash win for leaders Victory A against Victory Hammers.
Taylor also joined Paul Goundry in adding his name to the 180 column during the match that saw the A team only drop a single leg during the derby.

Maria O'Brien's eleven tons helped Victory D to an 8-3 win against Duchy of Cornwall in a match that saw O'Brien's 107 kill claim the highest of three ton plus checkouts.
Kay Whiting-O'Brien added a 104 one visit finish; a feat that was matched by Rob May for the defeated Stonehouse team.

Lee Rodmell's two 17 dart legs for Bar Mez came in a 9-2 success for the Cornwall based team against bottom side Firkin Doghouse.
