Lee Agar (31.98) produced some stunning darts in his 3-0 singles success that brought about an end to a phenomenal contest between the top two in the Steve Chapman 501 League.

Agar notched legs in 14, 17, and 16 darts and added the final effort of nine maximums that were plundered between Fawn B and Cherry Tree C in an 8-3 win for the former.
The first maxi came in the opening rubber that went the way of the away side as Lee Hellings fired, putting away 79 to give his team an early lead.

Agar's teammate Simon Stevenson added two maximums in the doubles that saw Stevenson and Kev Seal pair to claim a leg in 19 darts over the 601 distance.
The scoreline was nicely poised at 3-2 before Fed Goldsmith dispatched his opponent 3-1 with a 108 checkout, accentuating his fourteen ton haul for his night's work.

Nick Bryant was an eleven ton hitter for the visitors but still found himself on the wrong end of a 3-1 defeat with his leg coming in 16 darts.
Dave Lee's two maximums helped reduce the deficit to 3-5 as he plundered a leg in 16 darts on his way to a 3-1 triumph.

Stevenson added another two maximums to his overall ton scoring mark of sixteen and put away legs in 13, 18, and 15 darts during another 3-1 victory.
Both players in the next singles rubber ended their night on eleven tons with John Mann providing a 14 darter against Hellings, who lost 3-1 despite piling on a leg in 12.

Hellings added a 180 and a three dart combination 100 checkout in that singles loss to Mann before Agar rounded off the affair with his heroics.
Tex Pearce (28.36) put on quite a show for St Levans in their 8-3 success at Victory Fireballs with a 3-0 win that contained two 17 dart legs.

Mike Pearce (27.83) was almost as impressive as his teammate and brother with 18 and 17 darters coming in another 3-0 triumph that also saw one leg put away with a 93 kill.
The only moment of magic for the home came in the form of the solitary maximum ploughed in by both teams as Reg Cornish produced.

A thirteen three figure visit bonanza was rounded off by Scott Lawrey as his Victory A team dispatched Firkin Scholar 11-0.
Lawrey's teammate also chipped in with a respectable ten ton plusses, whilst the 180s in the contest were shared one each between Quinton Taylor and Andy Jackson.

Seven ton plus finishes were also recorded as Kelvin Rowe topped the leaderboard with a 141 that bettered 126 and 121 outs from Tasker and Lawrey.
Paul Goundry produced 120 and 106 kills that straddled either side of Steve Ebsworth's 118, with Darren Collis rounding off those statistics by way of his 100 combo.

Rowe added an 18 darter to his night during a 3-1 triumph before Lawrey notched a brace of legs completed in exactly six visits for another 3-1 victory.
Cameron O'Brien's twelve ton haul in a 7-4 defeat for Cherry Tree D versus Kings Arms included a game week high 146 checkout and no fewer than three 180s.

Teammate Kev Lofthouse fired ten tons, whilst Martin Pearson nailed a 100 finish, whilst Paul Hendy brought most of the firepower for the victors with ten tons of his own.
Hendy's stablemate Dave Johns also showed his class with a fourth maximum of the contest overall, which was his team's only three treble visit.

A 135 checkout accentuated Dan Brazier's eleven ton total that came in a 10-1 win for Raffles against The Exchange.
Brazier was supported by Will Broome, who smashed in ten ton plusses, whilst the only maximum went the way of Logan Carroll.

The only leg that bettered a Brazier 18 darter that rounded off his 3-0 win was a leg in 16 from teammate Luke Beard in a success by the same scoreline.
Eleven tons rained down from the arm of Kevin Evans, but he still managed to somehow end on the wrong side of a 7-4 loss as Tradesmans were bested by Fawn A.

Other highlights included a 114 checkout from Evans' teammate Nick Bromley, whilst the only 180 was fired from Liam Taylor for the victors.
Ian Heggie's eleven ton haul included a 180 and a 122 checkout, but that total wasn't enough to arrest Indian Inn's slide to a 10-1 loss at Bar Mez.

Archie Borlaise fired the home team's only moment of magic with the host's solitary three treble visit of the contest.
Eleven ton plus hauls were provided by the trio of Mike Whatley, Jason Pinkerton, and Phil Hoyle, which made a huge dent in Cherry Tree B's 10-1 scoreline at Beacon Park.

Mark Shears also popped up with ten tons, whilst Ryan Stone provided most of the flames from the hosts when also becoming a ten ton hitter.
Pinkerton's aforementioned tally included one of the two maximums nailed in the match as Paul Gavican helped himself to the other.

Gavican checked 106 in a single visit, which narrowly bettered a 103 from Pinkerton, whilst the pair also made headlines in their individual games.
Not before Whatley added a leg in 14 darts during his 3-0 win that came before Gavican's 17 darter in a 3-0 win and Pinkerton's leg in 15 in another success by the same score.

Kieran Leay saw his Victory Hammers side succumb to a 7-4 loss against King Billy, but not before he managed to complete a ten ton haul.
Andrew Cook fired one of his two maxis in the first game of the night that was put away by Cook, Lewis Byrne and Brandon Hartley (28.61) in 28 darts over the 801 distance.

Cook continued his good form with another 180 in the doubles and rounded off his night with a 3-0 singles success that included a 17 darter.
Jayden Dodd's ten ton haul gave Octagon the platform from which to launch a 9-2 Stonehouse local derby win over Duchy.

The only 180 of the contest was nestled into the board during the final singles game, which was provided by Dodd's teammate, Dave Pethick.
