Nathan Langdon (27.83) fired a hat trick of 18 darters in a 3-0 win that stole the Plymouth City Super League Division A show during a 7-4 win for Cherry Tree C versus Legends Lounge A.

ree

Langdon's teammate Frankie Stout went a long way to deciding the result of the affair with a ten ton haul, whilst Darren Smith contributed two of three maximums during a 3-1 win over Lee Hunter.

Hunter had earlier in the contest put away 119 in a single visit, which was only bettered by a 136 from Dave Hollow, whilst Hunter's teammate Ryan Harris nailed the other 180 for the defeated away side.

ree

Simon Washington (27.83) matched Langdon's average in a 3-0 triumph that was completed with the help of legs in 15 and 18 darts during an 8-3 win for Tradesmans over Steampacket.

Whilst Washington's performance in his singles was brilliant, the match was dominated overall by the immense scoring power of teammate Lewis Byrne, who finished up with a ton total of eighteen.

ree

Byrne was also supported well by Kevin Seal, who put on twelve ton plusses, whilst Kev Marshall showed one moment of class with a 92 checkout, which proved crucial in deciding a 3-2 win.

John Mann (26.37) ended his night with a 3-0 win that contained a leg in 16 darts and walked away from the oche with thirteen tons to his name to help Octagon secure a 10-1 win at St. Levans.

ree

Mann wasn't the only ton hitter to reach double figures, as Lee Hellings' ten three-figure visits were matched by Fred Goldsmith, who himself ended on ten tons overall.

Ewan Johnson opened the match with a 180 in his first game for the defeated side, but the finishing power of the league leaders was too much for the hosts in Keyham.

ree

Mann added a 100 checkout in a 2-0 doubles win, which helped the visitors end the team phase with a 4-1 lead going into the singles.

Neil White opened the individuals with a 117 combination outshot and added to that a leg in 16 darts to complete a 3-0 success.

ree

Harry Bull added a game week-high 140 finish to his fifteen scores of a ton or more that led Indian Inn A to a 9-2 home win versus Fawn A.

Bull was supported well by Dave Matthews, who threw thirteen tons, whilst Danny Bull added a 180 to his eleven-ton haul.

ree

Bull's three treble visit was added to by Matthews and teammate Leighton Wilson, whilst Dave Roberts provided the visitors with their only moment of magic with a maximum of his own.

Matthews 180 came in a 3-1 singles success that also yielded the best leg of 501 produced between the duodectet of marksmen as he nailed a 16-darter to the board.

ree

Mike Whatley's fifteen ton personal haul helped Ford Inn to an 8-3 win at King Billy, for whom Paul Palmer managed twelve tons in the loss.

Five 180s were shared between the two sides, with the lion's share going to the away team as Mark Shears added a brace to efforts from Scott Cook and Paul Gavican.

ree

Alec Turner put up his team's only max, and his 78 checkout played bridesmaid to a 96 single-visit combination outshot from Shears.

Simon Stevenson added a 180 to his fifteen three-figure visits that came during a 6-5 win for Legends Lounge B at Bluebird A.

ree

Stevenson was supported by Andy Malinowski, who nailed eleven ton plusses, including a game high checkout of 124.

As the scoreline suggests, it wasn't all one-way traffic, with Glenn Halford providing fourteen tons, including a 116 three-dart combination outshot.

ree

Glenn Austin bettered that effort with a 118 combo, which was the cherry on top of his ten tons, whilst Dale Halford heard scores of a ton or more called twelve times after throwing.

Thirteen tons rained down from the arm of Nick Bryant, which provided a platform for Cherry Tree D to secure a 10-1 win at Raffles B.

ree

Bryant added a 180 to his mammoth ton haul and was well supported by Quinton Taylor, who put on twelve tons for his night's work.

Keith Carter put on his team's other maximum and also added a 95 checkout that pushed a 72 from teammate Dave Lee into second best for the contest.

ree

Gary Hoyle found scores of a ton or more eleven times to help Kings Tamerton to a 6-5 win at Victory A, who themselves saw Reg Cornish fire ten tons in the narrow loss.

Hoyle's teammate Lee Soper picked out a 91 kill that proved to be the best finish of the contest, with Phil Hoskin helping himself to second place with a 79 in one visit.
