John Mann (27.83) shone for reigning champions Cherry Tree A with a singles game that was won 3-0 with the help of legs in 15 and 18 darts during a 10-1 win over Kings Arms B.

Jack McMinn was also in good nick with a 3-2 success that saw a leg put away after throwing just 17 darts, whilst Alfie Ford added an 18 darter in a 3-2 loss.

Mann and Andy Bates (26.13) put together a doubles matchup, which ended 2-0 thanks to 601 legs that were ended after the pair threw 21 and 25 darts.

Lee Hellings top scored for the victors with nineteen scores of a ton or more, and he was well supported by McMinn, who reached thirteen ton plusses.

Ford's 126 checkout topped up his own ton tally to the ten mark, whilst Mann added one of two maximums for his team to complete his ten ton haul.

Fred Goldsmith was the other 180 hitter in the contest, whilst Steve Mills added thirteen tons to Dave Johns ten ton plusses for the defeated team.

Scott Lawrey produced a monstrous total of nineteen three figure visits as leaders Falstaff were 9-2 better than Bluebird B.

Paul Goundry played his supporting role well with twelve scores of a ton or more, whilst the pair were two of the five 180 hitters in the contest.

Tony Tasker and Scott Cook nailed maxis for the victors, and Will Broome fired a solitary three treble visit for the defeated side.

Darren Collis started the heroics at the business end of legs with a 90 kill before Goundry and Lawrey teamed to put away 601 points in 19 darts.

Cook's 3-0 singles success saw a leg put to bed after throwing 14 darts before Lawrey won 3-2 despite opponent Vince Scallan checking 120 in a single visit.

Lawrey's legs in 16, 18, and 17 darts, which led his aforementioned triumph, but Goundry suffered the opposite scoreline as one of his brace of legs in a 3-2 turnaround was ended after 16 darts.

Dan Brazier's forteen three figure visits to the board gave Ford Inn the platform from which to launch a 7-4 win over Cherry Tree D.

Brazier's tally included the only maximum, and he nailed a 17 darter that came in a 3-1 loss to Nick Bryant, who helped himself to a leg in 15.

Bryant also walked away from the oche with ten ton plusses to his name, which was only bettered amongst his cohort by eleven three figure visits by Arthur Pearce.

Brazier's stablemate James Chudleigh also performed well in the singles phase of play with a 3-1 success that contained legs in 15 and 16 darts.

Scott Heggie ended his productive night on twelve tons, which was a total that led Firkin Scholar to a 7-4 win at Bluebird A.

Rhys Castle produced a 180 and a 90 checkout that was narrowly pushed into second best for the contest by a 92 from Glenn Halford.

Both Lewis Dare and Logan Carroll provided ten ton plusses that anchored a 9-2 success for Raffles A over Duchy A.

Carroll added one of the five maximums that came between the two teams as teammates Mark Turner and Adam Truscott put up three treble visits.

Rob Wills joined AJ Brunton in achieving maximums for the defeated side, whilst Simon Wilbraham was successful in the singles phase with a 116 checkout and a leg in 18, providing his main highlights.

Mike Nancholas nailed ten scores of a ton or more to the dartboard, but still ended up on the wrong side of a 6-5 loss as Fawn A were downed by Ker St A.

Teammate Dave Roberts put together a 124 checkout that was the best of all thirty-six finishes in the match that was won by Roger Bailey in a last leg shootout in the final singles by a 3-2 scoreline.

Steampacket's 8-3 win over Raffles B saw Marc Webber as the star of the show with ten ton plusses across the contest.

The maximums in the matchup all came from the defeated party, as Tony Reid and Ryan Fuller heard '180' called after throwing.

At the business end, Dave Matthews contributed to a 21 darter over the 601 distance as he paired well with Reid.

Matthews also added a 99 checkout to his night's work, but he fell 3-2 in the singles to Nick Miller, who also usurped that combination with a 133 kill.
