Maximums A Many For Jenny

Jenny Heffron hit two maximums for bottom side Cherry Tree B in the Plymouth Open League.

However that wasn't enough to stave off Weston Mill Oak Villa B who won 7-4 their Division A clash.

Dave Jones rolled back the years to notch a maximum in his Mainstone team's 6-5 defeat to Pennycross with Des Dugdale getting the victors over the line in the deciding game of the night. The Ker St C and Lugger shared three maximums as second placed Ker St won 7-4 in the Devonport derby. Robbie Bisgrove and Ty Carthy struck for the away side with Steve Lamerton replying for the defeated home team.

Lee Wells also registered a finish of 106; one of thirty-eight three figure scores between the two teams. That win maintains a four point lead in the race for runners-up after St Levans won by the same scoreline against Ker St B. In Division B, Railway are now six clear at the top thanks to their 6-5 win over Falstaff. Dave Hole slotted a 90 checkout in the Weston Mill's 6-5 win over Prince Maurice; just a second success of the campaign in thirteen starts. That win pulled Weston Mill further clear of bottom side Ker St D who went down 9-2 at home to Fortescue. Half Moon, who have moved from the recently closed Shakespeare didn't have the best start to new surroundings with a 7-4 defeat to Octagon.
