One Night In Harris

Ryan Harris' 157 was the highest finish of the Monday Premier League game week; put away in one of only two legs taken by Victory A during an 11-0 defeat against leaders and early title favourites Tradesmans.

That effort bettered a 106 from Andy Bates, which contributed one of thirteen three figure scores during the match for the veteran.

Bates also joined teammate John Mann in hitting a maximum on the night; the latter's 180 rounding off a ten ton personal haul.

Jaden Whitting's 111 finish usurped teammate Bates and contributed to a decent eleven ton personal tally for the Cornwall youngster.

Fred Goldsmith's (25.05) 3-0 win was the best winning average of the matchup with a 17 darter adding to that superb spectacle.

Teammate Andy Nation also won 3-0 with the help of a brace of 17 darters that was only bettered by a leg in 16 from Bates in another 3-0 win.

Fifteen tons from Dan Giles stole the show in a 6-5 win for Colebrook over Indian Inn in which there was three maximums.

Giles joined teammate Dave Reed and Indian's Harry Bull in hitting a maximum, whilst a 17 darter for Giles proved pivotal in a 3-2 individual success.

Bull wasn't content with just the maximum as he nailed single visit checkouts of 83 and 88 in the match to take the biggest finish of the match honours.

The Bluebird derby match between the A and C teams ended in a 9-2 win for the latter; but not before as many as four players reached double figures in tons as Jack McMinn top scored with twelve tons for the A team.

Teammate Alan Masters added eleven three figure efforts before Micky Organ, who defeated Masters 3-1 in the singles, reached eleven whilst two maximums ticked Glenn Halford over to the ten ton mark.

Lee Hellings twelve tons provided a catalyst for Octagon A to claim a 6-5 win over Cherry Tree A who fought back from 3-0 and 4-1 down to claim a decent result.

Hellings individual game was won 3-0 thanks in part to a leg in 18 that was only bettered by Alfie Ford's 17 darter in a 3-1 success that also saw the game's highest checkout of 100.

There was a 180 a piece for each side with Matt Chegwin providing the perfect riposte to an effort from Jayden Dodd earlier in the match.

Scott Cook added eleven three figure scores to the scoreboard, and a leg in 15 darts, in a 6-5 win for Victory B over Octagon B; who themselves had Chris Edgcumbe in scintillating form.

Edgcumbe (25.91) added a brace of 18 darters and a game high checkout of 120 during a 3-0 win; that checkout besting a 111 from teammate Steve Daley in a 3-1 individual success.

Eleven tons from Antony Hayman, including a brace of maximums, wasn't enough to arrest King Billy's slide to a 6-5 defeat at the hands of Bluebird B.

Two big checkouts from Wayne Oddie contributed handsomely to that win as Oddie nailed 98 and 115 at the first time asking.

Dale Halford was also in good nick with a 180 topping off a ten ton haul, but Halford would go on to lose 3-1 in the singles to Hayman who checked legs in 15 and 13 darts.

Kevin Lofthouse's 90 checkout had to settle for third place in the finishing stakes whilst Andrew Cook (24.64) won 3-0 to keep the score line respectable.

Marc Webber's 96 checkout and a Kevin Doel 180 were the main highlights of a 9-2 win for Cherry Tree B 9-2 win over Victory C.
