Pinky Headlines League Of Legends

Jason Pinkerton fired the highest checkout of 135 and two maximums in his 7-3 win in the newly formed Legends Lounge Premier League.

The competition held in the purpose built Legends Lounge darting facility of Brunel View sees thirty-two serious arrowsmiths compete in two sixteen player leagues over fifteen weeks, followed by a Finals Night.

Pinkerton's opponent was Darren Smith who most certainly contributed to proceedings with a brace of maximums to make it four in the ten legs between the two.

Pinkerton's checkout bettered a 128 from fellow Premier League 2 player Sean Burkitt in a 7-4 defeat against Dave Hollow who tops the standings after playing two games on the first night.

Hollow ploughed home one of the seventeen 180s thrown in the evening's play as he claimed a 7-2 win over Danny Perryman to add to his success over Burkitt.

Lee Hellings made a strong start to his campaign with two maximums in a 7-2 success over fellow Cornwall county player Sarah Brown.

Scott Hutchinson is the only player to not have lost a leg yet in the same division having dispatched Frankie Stout 7-0, putting a single 180 onto the scoreboard in the process.

Hutchinson is closely followed by Andrew Cook who checked 122 and ploughed home a three treble visit in a 7-1 win.

Scott Lawrey's 7-2 win was the third of it's kind in the league whilst Paul Gavican squeezed home with a 7-5 success; both players adding to the mammoth 180 total.

Lee Hunter's 102 finish was the only headline grabbing checkout in Premier League 1 in a 7-6 win over James Ewing that saw both players nail 180s.

Neil White's two maximums helped him to a 7-5 win over Dan Brazier whilst Paul Hendy sits at the top of the standings after a 7-0 triumph.

Chris Edgcumbe claimed the notable scalp of former BDO World Championship Semi Finalist Maria O'Brien by a 7-2 score line; a match that saw the Cornwall Ladies star hit a maximum in vein.

Scott Wapshott's two outings only saw a yield of four points from fourteen on offer as he fell to 7-2 defeats to Paul Palmer and Kieran Burns.

Wapshott and Palmer were the final two of the fifteen players that threw at least one maximum; an impressive haul considering there was only twenty-six competitors taking part in the first week.
