Shaun Drawn Into Title Battle

The topsy-turvy Legends Lounge Premier League 1 title race took another twist with a fourth leadership change in five weeks as Sean Taylor returned to the top.

Taylor defeated Dean Richards 7-1 with a 103 checkout his best before nailing a 140 highest checkout of the week in a 7-0 demolition of James Ewing.

Lewis Dare is now in second spot and probably favourite to take the title after three wins that contained four maximums.

Dare fired two of those in a 7-0 win over Lewis Byrne before adding another brace and a 118 checkout in a 7-2 success over Sean Burkitt.

Dare completed his night by adding a 7-1 win over Dave Hollow who put up a maximum of his own in the defeat that sees him plummet from first to fifth.

Neil White remains on the coat tails of the top two after four 180s over two games; the first during a 7-1 success over Burkitt who had one three treble visit of his own.

Burkitt followed that defeat with a 7-6 win over Byrne before White netted a trio of maximums during a high class 7-4 win over Chris Edgecombe that saw White's 107 checkout only bettered by an Edgecombe 134.

Edgecombe had earlier got the better of Reece Day 7-0 before Day suffered two more defeats in what were much closer games.

Day's 180 wasn't enough to see him past Dave Barton who beat him 7-6 before Day succumbed to title outsider Ben Waters 7-5 despite a 104 three dart combination out shot by the Cornwall based marksman.

That Waters win rounded off a night that saw Waters add a maximum in a 7-1 demolition of Richie Noel, which came before two maximums in 7-3 success over Frankie Stout.

7-2 defeats for Noel against Barton and Del Bryce, who himself added a 180 in that contest before Bryce was a repeated the 7-2 success against Stout.

In Premier League 2, Nick Miller started his evening with a 7-0 success over Kelly Burkitt before succumbing 7-2 to Darren Smith who climbs to second with that win joining another 7-2 turnaround; Nick Cordrey the victim.

Burkitt was eased out by Cordrey 7-1 with the latter adding a 180 to his night's work whilst Steve Mills fired a 120 checkout to join a maximum in a 7-5 defeat against Nathan Langdon.
