A game that had seven games settled by a solitary leg deserved to come down to the final singles, and it was Paul Goundry who held his nerve to take his individual game 3-0.
Tex Pearce fired as many as fourteen tons but still found himself on the wrong end of a 10-1 defeat as St Levans were downed by Ford Inn.

Hoyle's teammate Paul Freeman was the only 180 hitter of the contest, whilst Kriston Gargett checked 113, which pushed Lewis Pacey's 108 that made up his ten tons into second place.

A 9-2 win for Kings Arms B saw most of the action take place at the business end of legs as Simon Kelly added 110 and 81 checkouts to legs in 15 and 17 darts that came during a 3-1 singles win.
Those combination outshots had to settle for the bridesmaid position however, as teammate Paul Hendy fired the best checkout of 113.
