The White Stuff

Neil White fired 17 and 16 dart legs to go with his 180 for Victory during a 9-2 success over Prince Maurice in the Plymouth Open League Division A.

White's young teammate Frankie Stout added the highest checkout of the evening to White's heroics as he nailed 88 at the first time of asking.

180s from Andy Tremaine and Paul Davies lit up Falstaff A's 7-4 success over Davies' Weston Mill in which Davies checked 120 in a three dart combination.

A 116 three dart combination outshot by Brian Lumsdon wasn't enough to give St Johnston B the win over Beacon Park as Graham White triumphed in the final tie to give the title chasers a narrow 6-5 win.

Rob May's 80 and a Ken Gilliard 94 kill were the main highlights as May's Ker St A came away from their visit to Gilliard's Mainstone B with an 8-3 success.

A Lee Medway accomplished 89 finish couldn't get Fortescue over the line in their 6-5 defeat to Cherry Tree B that was won in a final leg shootout 2-1 by Scott Harris.

Ralph Lancaster was Weston Mill Oak Villa's hero in a 6-5 win over Lugger A that came down to the final leg of Lancaster's singles, which he won 2-1.

In Division B, a maximum from Tom Graham counteracted one from Peter White and led Graham's Legends Lounge to an 8-3 success over White's Lugger B.

Graham's teammate Scott Wardle managed a single visit checkout of 87 for the best of all twenty finishes in the contest.

Stephen Heffron checked 95 in a single visit but still found himself on the wrong end of an 8-3 defeat as Cherry Tree A were downed by King Billy.

Treve Sanders 90 and a 70 by teammate John Sturdy save St Levans a platform to claim a 9-2 success over Ker St D.

A late collapse by Fawn saw them surrender the final three rubbers but still come out with a 6-5 success over Falstaff B whilst Prince Maurice FC bested Duchy 8-3 and King Billy B were knocked over 10-1 by Pennycross.
