Godfrey shoots top game and best finish in 13-0 rout
SIMON Godfrey earned the plaudits in the Plymouth and District Friday League, inspiring Kings Tamerton Community Centre to a 13-0 whitewash of Indian B.
He recorded the week’s highest checkout of 128 in winning his doubles and then registered the best game of the week in the individual phases when he won in 31 darts, posting a 32.29 average.
Second placed Royal Naval Arms A also took maximum points on their visit to Railway Inn and had Andy Bates as their leading marksman with 15 throws of a ton or more.

City Social C secured the last two singles to edge out Brookside by the odd game of 13 while Porters defeated Weston Mill Oak Villa 8-5.
City Social A won in double figures when they returned from The Fawn with a 10-3 victory while The Windmill, Waterloo Inn and Dinky Diner A were all 9-4 winners against Bull and Bush, Royal Naval Arms B and Queens Dock respectively.
Octagon Social Club won by the narrowest of margins on their visit to Dinky Diner B, aided by solid singles victory from Dave Wyatt who won with a checkout of 114.
Brewery Tap restricted City Social B to just a single point and received good service from Antony Hayman (30.33) who won his singles in 33 darts.
