Packet remain favourites to retain their league title
STEAM Packet remain on course to retain their Monday Premier League title when they were one of only two teams to win in double figures.

Kieran Burns (100x14) was on target for Maritime in their 7-4 victory away at Union Inn (formerly Plympton Cons), while Octagon A won 9-2 at Victory Inn B.
A 15-darter in a 3-0 victory for Harry Bull was the highlight of Indian Inn A’s 7-4 success away at Bluebird D while Octagon B overcame Victory A 8-3.
Andrew Waters (100x11) top scored for the winners while Tony Tasker (100x11), Victory’s only singles winner, replied.
Bluebird B belied their league position to edge out Brewery Tap on their own board.
Tap went from 2-0 up to 2-5 down but started a revival led by Antony Hayman (30.06) who won 3-0 in 14, 17 and 19.
But despite pulling back the deficit to level at 5-5, Keith Lemon won the 11th point for a Bluebird victory.
John Mann (29.47) was in fine form for The Tradesman and inspired them to a 9-2 victory when taking his singles in 16, 17 and 18 while Matt Nicholson impressed for the hosts and in winning his individual game by a 3-1 margin, had winning legs in 14 and 15.
Matt Clayton was on target with a leg in 14, as Porters A took maximum points from their visit to Ford Hotel.
