Paul Palmer nestled sixteen scores of a ton or more for Octagon A but still found himself on the wrong end of a derby day defeat as his team was downed by Octagon B 6-5 in the Monday Premier League.

Alfie Ford and Luke Johnson added eleven and ten tons to their teammates' mammoth total, whilst most of the scoring damage for the victors was done by Robbie Bisgrove with ten tons.

The A team took the honours in the 180 statistics as Simon Wilbraham and Paul Hendy made it two maximums to Chris Edgecombe's one for the designated 'away' side.

Ford showed his class at the business end with legs in 17 and 18 darts, as well as a 72 out all coming in a 3-2 win, whilst Palmer bagged a 13 darter in a 3-2 defeat that was one of eight to be decided by a solitary leg.

Sean Taylor fired thirteen three figure visits, including a 102 checkout and a 180, for Legends Lounge as they claimed an 8-3 victory versus Bluebird A.

Other maximums came from Jon Parsons and Tom Graham, whilst the latter of those two 180 hitters added ten more tons to support Taylor with eleven ton plusses overall.

The top-scoring player for the defeated side was Parsons' teammate Stuart Couling, who walked away from the oche with a ten ton haul.

Fred Goldsmith was the main aggressor with eleven tons for Tradesmans as they swept to a 9-2 win at Indian Inn.

Scott Wapshott played his bridesmaid position very well with a ten ton total, whilst Simon Washington added a 128 checkout to his 180.

Dale Halford's eleven tons and ten more for Glenn Halford helped seal a 7-4 win for Bluebird B versus Cherry Tree A.

The former of the Halfords fired a 15 darter that proved the deciding point of a 3-2 singles win, whilst Mike Connell added a 180 to his 3-1 success, and Nick Perring chalked a 115 single visit combo in a 3-0 victory

A 180 and 94 checkout from Marc Webber and Tony Reid, respectively, couldn't ignite Cherry Tree B as they narrowly fell to a 6-5 loss at the hands of Colebrook.
