Another Recipe From Andrew's Cook Book

Fifteen three figure visits rained down from the arm of Andrew Cook, which provided the ammunition for King Billy to win 6-5 in their Steve Chapman 501 League visit to The Lounge.

Cook was supported well by Scott Cook, who bagged fourteen ton plusses overall, whilst Brandon Hartley also scored heavily with twelve ton plusses.

The latter two of the aforementioned totals were accentuated by 180s from both Hartley and Cook, whilst top scoring for the defeated team was Jaden Whitting with a ten ton haul.

Pete Holland's 110 checkout capped a 2-0 doubles win before Scott Cook bagged a 15 darter to open the individual phase with a 3-0 win.

Andrew Cook then stepped up to take a 3-1 victory that contained legs in 16 and 11 darts before Hartley fired a 15 darter in a 3-2 win over Holland, who checked a leg in 18 in vain.

Most of the heavy artillery in Fawn B's 8-3 win against Stuart Road Social Club came from Jack McMinn's twelve ton tally.

McMinn was supported well by Fred Goldsmith, who ended his stint at the oche with ten scores of a ton or more.

Cameron O'Brien was the main aggressor for the away side as he put together a twelve ton haul of his own, which included one of the three maximums.

Teammate Reece Mealin added a second maximum, whilst Xander Row put up the hosts' only three treble visit of the contest.

Martin Pearson's 112 checkout was the best finish of the contest, and O'Brien was a 3-2 individual winner, with the crucial blow coming in 14 darts.

Mealin suffered the opposite fate, but not before firing an 18 darter, before McMinn rounded off the contest with a 3-1 success that contained a 17 dart leg.

An 8-3 win for Raffles at Duchy A included twelve tons for Dan Brazier and eleven more that came from the arm of Jacob Bentham.

The cherry on top of Bentham's total was a 101 checkout, whilst the maximums in the matchup were shared between the two teams as Martin Dean and James Farrell both fired.

AJ Brunton was a twelve ton hitter for Duchy Dragons, but still found himself on the wrong side of an 11-0 loss as Plymstock Club prevailed.

Both Brunton and Roger Backway managed 180s for their respective teams, whilst Backway's teammate, Geoff Boulton, buried 116 in a single visit.

An eleven ton haul was put together by Jason Smout, but that still wasn't enough to stop Firkin Scholar from claiming a 7-4 win at Beacon Park A.

Smout added two of the 180s in the contest to that total as teammates Steve Smout and Beau Carter added to a solitary effort from Callum Horn.

Sandwiched in the middle of Steve Ebsworth's 136 and 103 checkouts were finishes of 117 by Joe Boniface, a 111 from Steve Smout and a 108 by Jack Wilkinson to bring that total also to five.

Simon Stevenson and Tony Tasker both nailed eleven scores of a ton or more as league leaders Falstaff were 11-0 better than Legends Lounge.

Stevenson matched a maximum from teammate Kelvin Rowe, whilst a 123 three dart combination outshot was provided by Paul Goundry.

Stevenson also put together a 15 dart leg as he was one of five 3-0 winners in a match that saw the hosts only drop two legs in the entire contest.

Harry MacGregor was the joint top scoring player for St Levans as his ten ton haul, along with another from Tex Pearce, gave St Levans the platform to take an 8-3 win against The Exchange.

The highlights of MacGregor and Pearce's hauls were a 180 for the former and a 120 single visit combination outshot for the latter.

Phil Willis fired ten tons back for the defeated party, whilst MacGregor and Pearce both added 17 dart legs to their respective 3-2 and 3-0 singles wins.

Mike Pearce was also in good nick during the individual phase as he was another 3-0 winner thanks in part to legs in 18 and 16 darts.

Willis' teammate, Keith Carter, was one of two individual winners for the visitors, with his 3-1 success built upon an 80 checkout.

Rob May and Lee Rodmell secured 180s for their respective teams in a 7-4 win for Rodmell's Bar Mez at May's Tradesmans.

May was victorious in the individual phase by a 3-0 scoreline, with the best leg of the match coming after 18 darts were thrown.

Mark Hatherley's maximum and 100 checkout couldn't arrest Indian Inn's slide to an 8-3 defeat at the hands of Ford Inn.

Scott Wapshott usurped that checkout for the victors with a 115 of his own, whilst Mike Whatley bagged a 15 darter in his 3-0 success.
