Legs in 12 and 15 darts helped Simon Stevenson (32.67) roundly defeat his Plymouth City Super League Division A opponent in an 11-0 victory for Legends Lounge B against St Levans.

ree

Checkouts of 121 and 120, as well as one of his two 180s in the matchup as a whole, helped Stevenson to that win and a tally of eighteen ton plusses.

Andy Malinowski provided suitable cover fire for Stevenson with ten scores of a ton or more, whilst Matt Vosper's heroics had to pale into insignificance when compared to Stevenson.

ree

Vosper put on a leg in 15 and a 110 checkout during a 3-1 singles win of his own, whilst the two highlights for the away team came from John Sturdy, who added a 180 to his 70 finish.

A trio of maximums rained down in a Dan Brazier (28.90) 3-0 singles win that provided the main highlight of a 9-2 win for Ford Inn versus Tradesmans.

ree

Brazier bagged himself a leg in 14 darts during that aforementioned affair that was matched by Scott Wapshott in his 3-0 victory.

Wapshott top scored with eleven three figure visits as Ant Pearn provided a decent supporting role with ten tons of his own.

ree

Top scoring player for the defeated team was Kev Seal, who fired a 103 checkout on his way to eleven scores of a ton or more.

That effort meant Pearn's 78 combo was only enough for second best, whilst six other maximums were put together in the match.

ree

Brazier's teammates added to his three visits with one for each of Mark Shears and Scott Cook, and Lewis Byrne found a brace, which sat nicely alongside Rob May and Simon Washington's solitary 180s.

A fourteen ton bonanza from Dave Johns gave Kings Arms B the platform from which to launch an 8-3 win over Cherry Tree C.

ree

Johns' tally was topped up by two of the dive maxis, and he was supported admirably by Simon Kelly's contribution of thirteen three figure visits.

Frankie Stout's brace of three treble visits and one more from Martin Pearson meant the visitors got the better of their hosts at least in the 180 stakes.

ree

The difference between Dave Hollow's eleven ton haul and ten more from Dan Jewell was a 118 three dart combination outshot for the former.

Martyn Down added the home team's best checkout of 81, whilst Stout provided a 17 darter in his 3-0 win, and Steve Mills' leg in 18 proved crucial in a 3-2 win that was one of seven contests decided by one leg.

ree

Glenn Halford netted two maximums on his way to a thirteen ton haul, but still found himself on the wrong end of a 6-5 loss as Bluebird A were bested by Indian Inn A.

Glenn Austin added ten ton plusses to Halford's total, whilst the best from the hosts came from Kelvin Rowe with eleven three figure visits.

ree

Halford teamed well with Lee Roberts to put together a 22 darter over the 601 distance before being dispatched by a 3-1 scoreline, thanks in part to legs in 16 and 18 from Rowe.

The game was left on a knife edge at 5-5 going into the last individual game, which was put away by Danny Bull with a 180 his best contribution in a 3-1 triumph.

ree

Nick Bryant's eleven ton personal tally included a 108 checkout, which helped Cherry Tree D yield an 11-0 from their battle with Kings Tamerton.

The 108 combination bettered a 100 from Phil Hoyle, whilst the away side's only moment of magic came from Brad Hamlyn with a 70 kill.

ree

The two three treble visits Bryant's team put onto the scoreboard came from the arms of Keith Carter and Stan Preen.

John Mann and Lee Hellings produced the goods with eleven ton plusses, which eventually saw champions elect, Octagon, over the line by a 6-5 score line at Steampacket.

ree

Their teammate Neil White also chipped in with ten scores of a ton or more, whilst Mann's tally was ticked over to his mark by a 180.

George Beckett fired his team's only maximum in the first leg of the contest as the hosts took a 1-0 lead before Mann fired a 96 kill in a doubles game that gave the top team a 2-1 lead.

ree

By the time Mann had added a 15 darter in his 3-0 singles win, the scoreline was 4-2 to the visitors, and it looked like business as usual for the Stonehouse outfit.

However, Beckett started a fight back with a 3-1 win that contained a leg in 15 darts and a 150 checkout, which ended with the scores being tied at 5-5 going into the last singles.

ree

The ever reliable Hellings held his nerve to take a 3-0 success and keep his team's unbeaten record at twenty-seven wins from the same number of starts.

An 18 darter in a 3-0 singles success by Mike Trim lit up Fawn A's 8-3 win against Raffles B, as two mid range checkouts also provided fireworks.

ree

Trim's teammate Reg Matthews nailed a 95 to the dartboard, which meant Kev Doel's combination of 80 had to settle for second best.

A 6-5 win for Legends Lounge C over Legends Lounge A saw Chris Beale finish off the contest with a 3-1 success in the final singles, which saw one leg go in 18.

ree

Of the four maximums, Beale's teammate Olly Maule provided two to go alongside Ryan Harris and Andy Endean three treble visits, whilst Kobi Hayman found a 90 kill.
