Bryce, Bryce Baby!

Legends Lounge trio of Del Bryce, Sean Taylor and Luke Collins (29.44) put together a fine 34 dart leg in the Louis Yates Plymouth & District Darts League for the least number of darts on the night.

However, that was one of only two legs garnered by the St Budeaux outfit as Victory won 11-2 at home in spite of some excellent play by the visitors.

The aforementioned least number of darts leg came with the help of a 180 each from Bryce and Taylor whilst Taylor went on to win his singles with a third maximum for the visitors.

Matt Abbott and Jordan Grimshaw both checked 90 in two of the eleven points won by the Honicknowle team to jointly share the high checkout honours for the week.

Mike O'Brien's (28.60) singles was won in 35 darts but that was only one of five points mustered by reigning champions Tradesmans A as they were downed by leaders Kings Tamerton 8-5.

O'Brien put one of his team's maximums onto the scoreboard in that particular leg whilst Andrew Nation added to his colleague's solitary three treble visit with one of his own.

Kieran Burns two maximums came in a 37 dart leg put together by himself and teammate Bayleigh Webb (27.05) during King Billy's 13-0 win over Weston Mill Oak Villa.

Burns duo of 180s was joined by another by teammate Ben Webb who made it a hat-trick of maximums for the Devonport side to help move them into third.

Andy Tremaine and Dave Jarvis both heard 180 called after throwing in Falstaff's 8-5 triumph over Pennycross in a match that also featured a top leg for their teammate Steve Harris.

Harris (27.05) put together a fine 1001 leg that was ended in just 37 darts thrown by the wily veteran who continues to show why he's been revered and feared by opponents for many a year.

Dan Capel added the game's only maximum but could not lead his Mainstone side to victory as Windmill won their local derby of sorts 7-6.

Ker St belied their much lower position in the standings to claim only their second win of the campaign in a 7-6 success over Cherry Tree that came down to Dan Brown-Martin's singles win when last on at 6-6.
