Dan Brazier added no fewer than fifteen tons to lead Cherry Tree A to a Steve Chapman 501 League 8-3 win over Kings Arms whilst teammate Luke Beard was also prominent with twelve tons.

James Ewing's eleven tons settled for the third best for his team whilst Paul Palmer nailed fourteen three figure scores for the defeated team.

Ewing (29.47) won his individual game 3-0 with the help of a 12 darter and one of the five maximums scored overall.

Palmer and teammate Chrissie Kinnaird both added a brace each of maximums whilst Ewing's 94 checkout was the best finish provided on the night.

Palmer was downed 3-2 by Beard but still had time to bag himself the second best leg of 501 of all twenty-seven played as he nailed a 14 darter in vein.

Ian Heggie was at his very best for Indian Inn, but his fourteen tons couldn't stop Octagon from defeating the Stoke village outfit 7-4.

Steve Daley produced the only notable moment for the victors with a maximum whilst Heggie was a 3-2 winner thanks to legs in 17, 17 and 18 darts.

King Billy picked up a famous win over reigning champions Fawn B as Andrew Cook's thirteen tons led the Devonport outfit to a 6-5 win.

Jordan Grimshaw bagged himself a twelve ton haul in a 6-5 win for Tradesmans at Fawn A who had Liam Taylor firing their only maximum.

Grimshaw (23.86) won 3-0 with a fine average whilst teammate Lewis Byrne was in good form with a 91 checkout, a maximum and a 15 darter in his 3-1 win.

Victory A's 8-3 triumph at St Levans saw Kelvin Rowe lead the scoring with eleven tons whilst teammate Scott Lawrey was a ten ton hitter.

The pair joined teammate Quinton Taylor in achieving a maximum on the night whilst the only effort of it's kind for the defeated team game from Tex Pearce.

Pearce was a 3-1 winner in the individual phase with legs of 18, 17 and 17 helping him get the better of his opponent.

Pearce's teammate Harry MacGregor was defeated 3-2 by Rowe in spite of his 18 dart leg whilst Rowe and Lawrey both checked a leg in 14 darts during their respective victories.

Lee Hellings pushed Cherry Tree C into second position in the early standings thanks to an eleven ton personal tally that was propped up by the biggest checkout of the week of 150.

The 11-0 victory for the Pennycross outfit over Beacon Park saw Hellings net the only maximum whilst Dave Lee's 18 darter in his 3-0 win was the best leg of the tie.

Cherry Tree B top the table after a 10-1 win over Bluebird that saw four maximums overall between the two teams, and a 16 darter from Billy Evans in a 3-2 success.

Paul Gavican's brace of maximums was joined by solitary efforts from teammate Scott Wapshott and Jack McMinn for the Compton side.

A 10-1 win for Bar Mez at Duchy was lit up by ten tons for Paul Tackle who joined teammate Lee Rodmell in achieving a maximum each.
