The best game of the Plymouth City Super League Division A game week came in Simon Washington's (26.38) 3-0 win for Tradesmans at Kings Tamerton in a 7-4 win.

Washington put away a 17 darter in that success, whilst the best leg of 501 came from teammate Kev Marshall, who nailed a 15 darter in a 3-1 triumph.

Matt Chegwin's leg in 18 gave him the platform to secure a 3-0 success with checkouts of 91 and 116 nailed by Chegwin and Marshall, respectively.

ree

Marshall and Washington checked 601 in 19 darts before Washington added a 180 to his eleven ton plus haul with the other three treble visit coming from Chris Hanwell for the defeated team.

Washington's teammate Lewis Byrne produced the best of the scoring phase with twelve tons, and Kev Seal added to the heavy scoring with ten ton plusses.

ree

Sixteen tons rained down from the arm of Sean Taylor that led Octagon to a 10-1 win over Raffles B, which saw Taylor add one of the five maximums.

Ford added to Taylor's maxi with one of his own, whilst Lee Dennis, Kev Doel, and Paul Hoare all struck for the defeated team to make it 3-2 to the visitors in that particular stat.

ree

It wasn't all a one man mission as Taylor was supported by teammates John Mann and Lee Hellings, who both helped themselves to fifteen ton plusses across the contest.

Hellings and Taylor were also at the forefront of the first of a string of decent legs as they teamed with Neil White to put away 1001 points in 37 darts for a 27.05 single dart average.

ree

Mann then paired up with Andy Bates to find 601 points in just 19 darts during their 2-0 doubles win, whilst Taylor and White showed more good form with a 21 darter over the same distance.

In the individual phase, Mann was a 3-0 winner thanks in part to a leg in 17 darts before Bates won by the same scoreline with his best leg coming in 15.

ree

Taylor added a 17 darter during a 3-2 reversal against Dennis, and Hellings pitched in with a leg in 16 during another dominant 3-0 success.

Nick Bryant found scores of a ton or more on fourteen occasions to lift Cherry Tree D to an 8-3 triumph against Bluebird A.

ree

Teammates Quinton Taylor and Stan Preen both added twelve tons each to Bryant's total, and Keith Carter notched ten tons as the trio played their supporting role extremely well.

Amongst the visitors cohort, Glenn Halford bagged as many as thirteen ton plusses, whilst stablemate Glenn Austin was a ten ton hitter.

ree

Preen, Austin, and Phil Hoyle were the three players in the matchup to hear '180' called after throwing, whilst Preen also featured heavily in dispatches about the business end of legs.

Preen teamed with Bryant (30.82) to produced 19 and 20 dart 601 legs; one of those ending with a 100 checkout from Bryant.

ree

In the very next doubles game, Dale Halford bagged himself an 80 kill, which helped leave the game nicely poised at 3-2 in favor of the hosts going into the individual phase.

Preen's 122 three dart combination out proved the difference maker in a 3-2 success, whilst Glenn Halford fired a 17 darter in his 3-1 victory that was the only game of singles won by the defeated team.

ree

Tex Pearce secured thirteen three figure visits but still found himself on the wrong end of a 6-5 loss as St Levans were downed by Legends Lounge C.

Other highlights in the match included a 102 checkout for Pearce's teammate John Sturdy, whilst Kieran Harris found the only maximum for the victors.

ree

Simon Stevenson bagged a twelve ton plus haul for Legends Lounge B that included one of the five maximums added between the victors and Indian Inn A in a match that ended 7-4.

Stevenson was well supported by Shaun Dring, who netted eleven tons plusses, while teammate Col Maddocks fired his team's other 180.

ree

The trio of maxis from the defeated away team started with an effort from Leighton Wilson, whilst Harry Bull and Kelvin Rowe both notched.

That effort, plus a 121 checkout, topped Rowe's ton tally up to the eleven mark with his finish pushing Bull's 108 three dart combination into second best.

ree

Stevenson produced a 91 combination that was noted as the best checkout from his side of the affair, with a 16 darter coming during Rowe's 3-0 triumph gave him the best leg of 501 from the twelve strong cohort.

180s were the only noted component of Ford Inn's 10-1 win versus Kings Arms B, as the away side nailed five despite the heavy loss.

ree

Dave Johns and Paul Carpenter both added a brace to Karl Rogers' solitary three treble visit, whilst Mike Whatley and Scott Cook both notched maxis for the victors.

Cook also showed his class at the business end of legs with a 94 single visit combination outshot that was the best of all thirty-eight checkouts in the match.

ree

A 90 finish and a 17 darter from Kev Lofthouse and Paul Goundry respectively, helped King Billy A over the line to an 8-3 win at Legends Lounge A, for whom Sean Burkitt fired an 80 kill.
