The Plymouth City Super League Division A was treated to a masterclass by Mike Beard (28.36), who nailed legs in 15 and 17 darts on his way to a 3-0 win that came in a 7-4 success for Cherry Tree A over Ford Inn.

Beard also helped himself to two of his three 180s overall in that contest, as well as a 148 checkout that bettered a 78 from Ant Pearn for the defeated party.
The trio of Neil White, Lee Hellings and Alfie Ford (33.37) knitted well together for a 1001 leg put away in 30 darts.

Hellings and Mark Shears from the opposition provided the first two of the nine 180s that were plundered between the two teams in that particular trebles rubber.
Beard nailed the first of his trio of maxis in a 2-1 doubles defeat that came in the very next tie, which also saw Pearn put together his aforementioned checkout.

Scott Wapshott bagged a 180 as he paired with Shears to win 2-0 in the final pairs game, which put the away side 3-2 up going into the singles.
Andy Bates levelled with a 3-0 victory that contained legs in 17 and 18 darts, and this exact feat was repeated by Hellings, who added a maximum on his way to putting the hosts 4-3 up.

By the time Fred Goldsmith threw his last dart in another 3-0 victory that contained another 18 darter, he had reached ten tons overall to put the reigning champions on the brink.
Beard's heroics secured victory before White edged Wapshott 3-2, with legs in 15 and 17 darts proving crucial against the away team's ten-ton hitter.

White himself top scored overall with thirteen ton plusses, including a 180, before Shears finally earned some respectability for his team's effort with a 3-0 success that contained the ninth and final maximum.
Nick Bryant (26.37) lit up Falstaff B's 7-4 win over Bluebird B with two 18 dart legs that both came in a 3-0 singles success.

Dave Lee was also in good nick during his 3-1 individual triumph with a leg in 14 darts, whilst Phil Hoyle won by the same scoreline thanks in part to 15 and 18 darters, and the highest checkout of 94.
That effort bettered an 80 from Vince Scallan for the defeated home side, whilst the third best was from Keith Carter with a 73 combination.

Bryant was also the top scoring player with fifteen scores of a ton or more, whilst Lee bagged twelve three figure visits.
Scallan's stablemate, Jon Parsons, was the only player who reached ten ton plusses, and the four maximums were shared in the match.

Bryant and Lee were the 180 hitters for the victors, whilst Will Broome and Liam Donovan added their own three treble visits.
Matt Vosper put up as many as fifteen scores of a ton or more but still saw his Legends Lounge B team succumb to a 9-2 loss as Raffles A prevailed.

Vosper added the only two maximums in the contest to his mammoth total, whilst Lewis Dare fired fourteen tons overall for the victors.
Tyler Borthwick bagged ten tons to provide a decent amount of scoring prowess, with three big finishes lighting up the contest.

Andy Malinowski's 86 settled for third best to a 100 from Simon Wilbraham and a 103 from Lee Hunter, which ultimately took the best checkout of the night.
The best leg of 501 came in a 3-2 success for Vosper as he secured what turned out to be a crucial leg in 18 darts.

Tradesmans were 6-5 better than Falstaff A as Simon Washington ignited the affair with fourteen ton plusses overall.
The 180s were shared amongst the two sides as Washington and Darren Collis both nailed a solitary effort each, as the latter used his three treble visit to top his individual ton total up to the ten mark.

Tony Tasker's 88 combination was the best checkout amongst the defeated cohort, which was only bettered by a Chris Edgecombe 113 in the final doubles.
The singles phase saw Tasker nail an 18 darter in his 3-1 victory before Washington won out by a 3-0 scoreline, thanks in part to his leg in 15.

Lewis Byrne's 17 dart leg came in a 3-1 defeat to Collis, who himself notched the second 18 darter of the contest in the success.
George Beckett bagged eleven tons overall, but found himself on the wrong side of a 6-5 loss as Steampacket lost a last leg decider against Fawn A.

David Johns ended his stint at the oche with thirteen ton plusses to lead Kings Arms B to a 9-2 win over Firkin Scholar.
Both Martyn Down and Steve Mills provided plenty of cover fire as the pair reached ten tons each to help the hosts achieve their goal.

Stephen Ebsworth put his name to the only maximum fired in the matchup, whilst Mills' 98 checkout and a leg in 18 from Johns in a 3-0 singles win were the best moments at the business end.
Darryl Pinnegar added ten scores of a ton or more for Duchy but still ended up on the wrong side of a 6-5 loss as Mike Evans held his nerve during a 3-0 win in the final singles.

Legends Lounge A were bettered 7-4 by Raffles B, but not before Aiden Stenson managed to nail eleven tons to the dartboard.
The cherry on top of Stenson's tally was a 180 that was matched by teammate Liam Taylor and Danny Bull for the victors.

Bull managed 105 outshot, whilst bettered an 86 from Harry Bull and a 70 single visit combination outshot by Robbie Aitken.
Glenn Austin's eleven ton haul came in a 7-4 defeat for Bluebird A at Ship's Tavern, who had Nathan Langdon leading their charge thanks to ten ton plusses.

Austin's teammate, Callum Strickson, was the only 180 hitter of the contest, whilst Lee Roberts and Glenn Halford paired to take a 601 leg in 18 darts.
Checkouts of 94 and 96 from Frankie Stout and Langdon were the best on offer from the hosts, whilst Halford 118 combination bettered a 100 from Roberts.

Mike Trim was the hero in that 3-2 final singles triumph, whilst the two 180s in the match were shared between Dave Roberts and Nick Miller.
The best two checkouts of the contest were provided by Phil Taylor and Bill Scannell, who added respective combos of 81 and 96.
