Hock, Hock, Hocking On Heaven's Door

Gareth Hockings was in blistering form for Lugger B in Plymouth Open League Division B with two 96 checkouts and a maximum in a 8-3 win at Ker St D.

Hockings' checkouts did narrowly better a 95 from Andy Williams in the Devonport derby match; a checkout that helped Williams best Hockings 2-1 in the individual phase.

Mike Beale fired the only maximum but still found himself on the wrong end of a defeat as Firkin Scholar were downed by Pennycross 8-3.

Sean Taylor's 76 checkout was the main highlight for Legends Lounge as the leaders defeated King Billy A 9-2 away from home.

St Levans came away from Cherry Tree A with a 9-2 win whilst Fawn were too good for Duchy in an 8-3 home success and Mainstone A claimed a 6-5 win at home to Prince Maurice FC.

In Division A, Neil White's eleven three figure score personal tally provided the catalyst for Victory to take a 9-2 triumph at home to Weston Mill.

Shaun Lamerton definitely had his finishing boots on as he fired the highest checkout of the match with a fine 80 single visit kill.

Lewis Byrne's 108 checkout wasn't enough to arrest Ker St C's slide to a 7-4 defeat at the hands of Lugger A whilst Weston Mill Oak Villa defeated Fortescue 8-3.

Despite ending on the wrong side of a heavy defeat, Lee Medway still had time to put the only maximum onto the scoreboard whilst Ryan Horn finished 91 in an 8-3 win for Falstaff A at Ker St A

The St Johnston derby finished in an 8-3 win for the designated away side, but Brian Lumsdon's 180 and a 73 checkout from Josh Ladlow provided the fireworks in the match for the B team in their loss to the A side.

Liam Donovan's 89 checkout bettered an 88 from Helen Wicks as Donovan's Prince Maurice claimed a 6-5 win over Wicks' Mainstone B.
