Nobody could top Lee Rodmell's ton scoring in the Steve Chapman 501 League, but he still found himself on the wrong end of a 7-4 loss for Bar Mez, as fifteen tons couldn't stop Octagon.

Rodmell's stablemate Paul Tackle supported well with ten ton plusses, whilst Rodmell also fired the only 180 and a 124 checkout that was the best of all finishes in the contest.

Rodmell also helped himself to a leg in 13 darts during his 3-1 win, whilst Tom Full added an 18 darter in a win by the same scoreline.

Amongst the victors' achievements, Jayden Dodd's eleven tons and an 18 darter from Robbie Bisgrove in a 3-1 success stood out.

John Mann ticked his ton tally over to the fifteen mark for Fawn B in a 7-4 triumph over King Billy that saw Mann's two 180s add to a match total of eight.

Teammates Sean Taylor and Lee Agar made it four for the hosts, whilst Paddy Archibald's brace was added to once each by Scott Cook and Andrew Cook.

The latter of those two Cooks shot a 108 finish that was bettered twice in the match as Taylor also showed his abilities at finishing with a 116 three dart combination outshot, and Mann put up a 118.

Taylor was also the next best for ton scoring in the match with eleven, and Simon Washington contributed ten ton plusses of his own.

Mann teamed with Agar (31.63) to put away their 2-0 601 doubles win with legs in 18 and 20 darts before the individuals saw a smattering of short games over the 501 distance.

Washington was a 3-1 winner with the help of a leg in 17 darts before Taylor won his only leg in a 3-1 reversal with an 18 darter.

An 18 dart leg for Mann proved crucial in deciding a 3-2 triumph, whilst Andrew Cook was a 3-0 winner thanks in part to the best leg of the night in 15.

Dan Brazier topped up his ton tally to the thirteen mark, but still found himself on the wrong end of a 9-2 loss as Victory A downed Brazier's Cherry Tree A.

Most of the damage in that success was done by Scott Lawrey's eleven ton plusses, whilst Tony Tasker chipped in with ten of his own.

Lawerey added to 180s from teammates Quinton Taylor and Paul Goundry, with Brazier's stablemates Luke Beard and Simon Wilbraham both firing back.

Goundry's 108 combination outshot has to settle for second best in the contest as Tony Tasker checked 123 in a single visit.

The magic of Goundry's individual 3-0 win was a 13 darter, whilst James Farrell won his only leg in a 3-1 defeat versus Kelvin Rowe in 17 darts.

Lawrey finished his night with a 3-0 triumph, which contained a solitary leg that was out away in just 15 darts to round off an impressive night for himself and his team.

Lee Wickett fired twelve tons and Cameron O'Brien played the supporting act well with ten of his own to lead Cherry Tree D to a 6-5 win at St Levans.

Wickett was the hero in the final singles last leg deciding win over Anna Pearce by a 3-2 scoreline, which came despite Pearce nailing and 18 darter.

Pearce was also in good form during the scoring phase overall with ten ton plusses to her name, which was a feat shared by Mike Pearce.

Tex Pearce top scored for the defeated side with twelve tons, and his night's work included a 17 darter that came in a 3-0 triumph, which featured one of his two 180s in the contest.

O'Brien also bagged a brace of maxis, which sat nicely alongside solitary three treble visits from Kev Lofthouse and Wickett.

Mark Hatherley's eleven ton haul for Indian Inn didn't make much of a dent on the match score as his team were downed 8-3 by Cherry Tree B.

In the individual phase, Hatherley survived a 180 against him by Scott Wapshott and won his 3-2 success with a 140 checkout that bettered a 106 from Wapshott's teammate Paul Gavican.

The top scoring player for the home side was Jason Pinkerton, who heard scores of a ton or more called no fewer than ten times throughout the contest.

Nick Miller and Nick Bryant both finished their performances with ten ton hauls that lead Cherry Tree C to an 11-0 triumph over Tradesmans.

Miller was the only 180 hitter for his team, whilst Rob May and Chris Adams put on one maximum each for the defeated away side.

A 92 checkout from Bryant gave him the best checkout of the contest, whilst his 18 darter during a 3-0 win was narrowly bettered by a leg in 16 from Miller that came in a 3-1 success.

Reg Cornish was the hero in the final leg of a 6-5 win for Victory Fireballs over Beacon Park, and he also ended his 3-2 singles win with ten tons overall.

Cornish's teammate, AJ Brunton, bagged himself a 99 finish that usurped an 88 from Beau Carter, which was the only noteworthy moment for the away team.

An 8-3 win for Kings Arms at Firkin Scholar was littered with explosive moments, including 180s for Andy Jackson and Dave Johns.

Jackson also showed his class at the business end of legs with a 78 checkout that was only bettered by a 126 from Johns' teammate Paul Palmer.

Jack Heath's 110 single visit kill helped Duchy leave their game against Victory Hammers nicely poised at 5-5 before Gareth Harper ran out a 3-0 winner to give Heath's side the win.

An 81 checkout by Rikki Eastley was the sole moment of magic during a 6-5 defeat for Eastley's Exchange against Fawn A, who had Bill Scannell as their last leg hero in a 3-2 eleventh game win.
