Ian Heggie was a 180 hitter on three occasions for Ker St A, but still saw his Ker St A team lose ground in the Plymouth City Super League Division B title race despite a 6-5 win at Bluebird B.

Jon Parsons added a solitary maximum for the defeated side, whilst Heggie's teammate Paul Tackle fired a 98 checkout and a 14 darter during a 3-2 defeat to Parsons.

With the scores tied at 5-5 going into the final singles, Mike Evans stepped up to provide the glory for the second-placed side with an accomplished 3-0 success.

The difference between Raffles A and Victoria was the eleven tons fired by Adam Truscott and ten more from Tyler Borthwick in the 9-2 win.

His team's only maximum topped up Borthwick's tally as Gary Eaton chalked the other three treble visit for the defeated side.

The most resistance in the scoring phase was put up by Eaton's teammate Mick Bingham, who netted eleven ton plusses of his own.

Eaton and Bingham were in amongst the headlines at the business end of legs with 75 and 72 checkouts, whilst Adam Fell usurped both of those with a 78 kill for the victors.

Eleven scores of a ton or more from Archie Borlase couldn't arrest King Billy B's slide to a 6-5 defeat at the hands of Hyde Park.

Both Tom Full and Ben Welsh produced 18 dart legs in a 3-1 win for the latter that also contained a 116 checkout that narrowly bettered a 97 from Borlase's teammate Kev Stout.

Jack and Jordan Heath put together a 20 darter over the 601 doubles format, which helped them to a 2-1 win during an 8-3 success at Indian Inn B, who had David Young firing ten tons.

Jack Heath's form didn't stop there as he was the only recipient of a '180' call in the whole match with a solitary effort during his 3-0 singles triumph.

Recently turned 18 year old Mackenzie Sargeant lit up Fawn B's 6-5 win against Staddiscombe with a 114 checkout and one of his team's two maximums.

The other major checkout in the match came from the arm of Andy Milne, who got the better of Sargeant by a 3-1 scoreline, thanks in part to an 80 kill.

ree

Tom Elphick fired the only 180 during the contest, whilst Steve Dobson provided the spark that decided the match with a 3-0 singles win in the final singles.

Callum Horn provided the main talking point of Herbert B's 6-5 triumph at Kings Arms A, which also saw a flurry of mid-range sharpshooting at the business end of legs.

ree

Horn started that with a 98 combo in the doubles before teammate Levi Toy notched an 80 kill during a 3-0 individual triumph.

Colin Sloman had the last contribution to the highlight reel and indeed the match as his 3-1 singles win contained a 74 single visit combo.

A 131 checkout from Dave Jones and a 70 by Niall McGarvey lit up a 10-1 win for McGarvey's Clifton at Jones' Ker St B.

Lee Bannister's three treble visit was the only moment of magic for Victory B in a 10-1 win at Herbert A, which was their twelfth success in seventeen games of their debut campaign.
