Jordan Finishing Grim Reading For Opponents

Checkouts of 114 and 95 from Jordan Grimshaw couldn't provide the catalyst required for Ker St A as they were downed 7-4 in a visit to Cherry Tree B in the Plymouth Open League Division A.

Ker St C were 10-1 winners over Prince Maurice whilst Paul Davis' maximum and a 107 checkout from Mike Hill provided the highlights in a 7-4 defeat in the Weston Mill derby between the Hotel and Oak Villa.

Jason Goldsmith added the only maximum of the game in a 7-4 win for Lugger A away at St Johnston A whilst St Johnston B suffered the same fate as their stablemates in their visit to Falstaff A.

The Keyham side did however have time to show their finishing prowess with checkouts of 100 and 104 respectively from Tyler Borthwick and Brian Lumsdon.

A checkout of 74 from Neil White helped Victory extend their lead at the top to six after a 10-1 win over Mainstone B, who themselves had Ken Gilliard firing a 68 finish.

A three dart 102 checkout from Harrison Russell lit up an 8-3 defeat for King Billy B in their home match with Mainstone A.

Gareth Hockings fired a 101 checkout for Lugger B as the battle of second and third in the league went the way of the Devonport side by an 8-3 score line over Pennycross.

Tom Graham's 94 was the only checkout to better an 80 from teammate Del Bryce in Legends Lounge's 9-2 success over Fawn.

St Levans were 6-5 winners over King Billy A thanks to a last leg deciding win for Ian Duncan whilst Prince Maurice FC bettered Ker St D 7-4 in spite of some excellent play from the away side.

Dan Roberts put up the only maximum whilst a combination out shot of 102 from Will Thomas was finished on the bull.

Bottom side Firkin Scholar got themselves a second triumph in sixteen outings with a 6-5 win over second bottom Falstaff B whilst Ker St B defeated Cherry Tree A 9-2.
