Jordan Lugger's Grim Reaper

Jordan Grimshaw ended his night with eleven tons to lead Ker St A to a 7-4 Plymouth Open League Division A success over Lugger A.

Three 180s lit up the contest as Grimshaw's effort was added to by opposition players Alex Truscott and Logan Carroll.

Truscott's 16 darter in his 2-0 win was won of three beautifully crafted legs as Nick Bromley won in 17 during his 2-1 win and Roger Bailey fired an 18 darter in another three leg success.

Simon Wilbraham's 81 single visit finish narrowly beat Bromley to the highest checkout honours as his 79 had to settle for second best.

Keith Carter, Gary Griffin and Phil Hoyle (33.37) checked 1001 in just 30 darts during Beacon Park's 8-3 triumph over Mainstone B.

Success in the very first rubber set Carter on his way to ten tons overall whilst Hoyle and Griffin both added maximums in that particular leg.

Hoyle fired a second maximum in his individual game and Nick Bryant made it four for the title chasers in the game with one in his 2-0 triumph.

Two mid range checkouts were found in the match as Cam O'Brien and Arthur Pearce both heard 'game shot' called at the first time of asking from 95.

Kieran Harris' 180 was the only effort of it's kind which helped Cherry Tree B to a 6-5 win in their home contest with Ker St C whilst Cody Rees-Williams' 116 checkout for Fortescue came in an 8-3 success over Weston Mill.

A 180 by Andy Tremaine and an Al Jewell 87 checkout gave Falstaff A their main moments of magic in a 7-4 win over St Johnston A.

Jewell's checkout was only fit for the second best finish of the night as a 90 kill by Kev Hulcoop found it's mark for the defeated visitors.

Sean Taylor (28.63) put away 1002 points in a 2-0 singles win in just 35 darts with his best effort coming in a 16 darter during Legends Lounge's 11-0 whitewash of Duchy in Division B.

Dave Barton fired a 180 but still ended up on the wrong side of a 7-4 defeat as Fawn were defeated away at Pennycross.

Ian Davison added a 15 dart leg to his 75 checkout but still found himself on the wrong side of the match score line as Jan McGinley won a last leg decider in the final leg of a 6-5 win.

Geordie Baker added maximum to Danny Hoyle's 74 finish as Hoyle's Prince Maurice FC defeated Baker's Ker St B 9-2 whilst Mainstone A won 6-5 versus Cherry Tree A.

Checkouts of 111 from Dan Brown-Martin and a 97 by Will Thomas wasn't enough to stop Ker St D from falling to a 6-5 loss at the hands of Falstaff B.
